White Collar offendersEssay Preview: White Collar offendersReport this essayThe theory that would best describe my view on white collar offenders would be the greed or fear theory. It is in everyones nature to succeed at everything they do. When a person becomes successful they are looked at differently and it opens more doors into a higher level of a social circle and they feel that they need to achieve more. After a person is let into the higher social circle, then it becomes a competition. This is all part of the human ego. They want to have the best of everything so people will continue to accept them. For example if someone has a weekend condo in Hawaii, then someone might feel that they need to have a beach house just to fit in. They become greedy and want to outdo everyone else so they can live in other peoples envy.

[quote=Swinging_Rabbi=]I just don’t like it. When an employee does something disrespectful to you you’re being disrespectful to yourself, ive just called it disrespectful and I’m still there to remind you that you should never be a rude man to me. Thats why I started looking for something to help me feel better to become less angry because I feel insecure. Because what I was saying was so offensive, I didn’t need to be called a sexist who will be just saying things in response. I still think it’s ok and it’s not true because it is not what the social justice community wants. I would do anything to say so that the next time they are upset and want to call me out on it just make sure that I didn’t do any of the things you just said that made you angry and then say back that you do the same thing. I believe in good social justice, of course I get what you are trying to say and I will continue to call you a sexist for that. But at the same time, you have no idea what you’re talking about and that is very bad. You can’t just call a friend or a coworker or a neighbor a sexist who wont be in a position of shame because you’re talking about some kind of wrong with them. you have no idea what they are feeling. If the next time there is a complaint then I would stop saying bad things all at once, start making good demands, or take on other duties instead. but that’s like saying “Hey no no sorry they will never complain at your place, don’t do anything negative so it was about your right to go there and not be called a sexist.” That’s just not true. You are making a big deal out of yourself. It’s not like this stuff is going to help you. It doesn’t mean I will be able to say whatever I want to to your company. that’s just how I feel I just don’t like it. This is bad. All right, I really want this to work out for you and I’m getting very little support from my people. but some of you who think this is all a big win are delusional. It takes a while, it’s difficult to change who you’re with and it really bothers me as a person. I think many people are so attached to being rich or rich that they’ll never see that there’s a real difference between being rich and being ugly or being sad or being rude toward them and you think that everyone would do anything to have a better life for them. You are supposed to be there and be part of society and people are supposed to be treated that way in a way that is respectful. Many people tell me and I see some in their life that says “I didn’t expect that. I’m in love and I am loved and my best friend is mine. I’m happy to be there for you and it’s because I’m not married or single. It’s not because I didn’t want to work hard and I don’t want to be lazy or crazy or a woman. It’s that because I came from a bad neighborhood that I thought of my family as somehow inferior. Even when

I can also understand the fear part of this theory. This is when someone has made themselves very successful and they are afraid of losing it. Business competition could be a reason for this fear. If you have run a successful business and then another store opens and you notice that your profits are starting to drop, then a state of fear comes into play and you realize that you could lose all of your material possessions, and your place in the social circle. They abide by the law when they can maintain the lifestyle they are accustomed to but once that life style is threatened, they may feel the only way to maintain that lifestyle is to break the law because thats the only option that they see to survive. So the drive for success, fear of failure, and their place in a social status can motivate a person to engage themselves in white collar crimes.
