TIDES
Tides are when the water rises above sea level. This happens because the moons gravitational pull. The moon pulls on earth and earths water comes above sea level. There are two high tides and two low tides every day. The high tides are usually three feet higher than the low tides. If youre looking for some crazy high tides, you should go to the Bay of Fundi in Canada. Their tides can each up to 45 feet high. The best time to go is when there are spring tides. Wait till the sun, earth, and moon are all aligned because thats when the tides are the strongest. The moon has to be a full or new moon for a spring tide to occur. So plan your next vacation wisely.

SPRING TIDES
Spring tides are every strong tide. They occur when the moon is a new moon or a full moon. Then the moon, sun and earth got to be in a line for a spring tide to occur. Spring tides are strong because both the moons and suns gravitational pull are on earth.

NEAP TIDES
Neap tides are the lowest of tides. They are every weak tide. Neap tides happen when the sun, earth, and moon make a 90 degree angle. The gravitational pull is not very strong so the water doesnt come up so much.
