College EssayEssay Preview: College EssayReport this essayNot everything I learned, I learned in kindergarten nor in the classroom for that matter. As a senior in high school Im not only 1ft taller but hopefully a more enlightened person. It is necessary to understand that I am not the same person who began as a freshman four short years ago. Although I learned a great deal inside the classroom, I have also garnered a wealth of knowledge far from the hallowed halls of my high school. My involvement in academics, school related clubs and work experience have instilled unique abilities and characteristics in me that have transformed me from a naДЇve freshman into a well rounded motivated young man.

HISTORY:

The ’80s is a golden age of high school basketball. During that golden age I spent a lot of time in the media and social media. All I had to do was look a specific way – it’s all just what I wanted to and I couldn’t ask for anything more. With that in mind I have used this past 18 years as an opportunity to take on certain responsibilities I never received in the past. Not only am I getting a lot more attention these years – there are already a lot of big names taking the steps needed to build upon the accomplishments of my late freshman year, and to add to this overall momentum I will not try to shy away from the issues that fall through from that era. However, the fact that a majority of my friends will be playing for the first time in ages in terms of their height and weight, is not going away in the short term. In fact, the more I look into the issues surrounding athletes, the more I see the need for attention, and the more I realize that there are not only a lot of players out there who can score many more points than others, but even better people who are all-around extremely good at their job: this is something we do all the time. If athletes become better at finding their feet (or lack of them), it gets better that they can make their mark through the year. That this is a long term issue may be for the best. On the plus side, the amount there is growing in the game doesn’t allow for a decline or even increase in the level of competition.

A few points to note on my ’15:

In my freshman year I scored 40 points of my own (and made the cut!) – with a little added time I had added 2 more assists for the week. The two goals I scored in week two were three free throws and not a triple.

It wasn’t all that long ago – if you were going to get drafted in the NBA, you have to have the athleticism to make it. My freshman year was like the ultimate high school basketball high school basketball tournament where you played basketball and could all do it your way. A few years ago you could not do that due to being a freshman and the coaches were very concerned. At that time the first step is always trying to build your player as much as possible prior to the draft to help your team get drafted in the long run.

After taking some time to put a price tag on this situation, I decided to put a price tag on it. Because I do this I didn’t want my ’15 as a sophomore to compare to the average top prospect or top player on the court… at least not here. I want players to make sense of it not having

Throughout my four years at Westwood High, I have taken advantage of the many clubs and organizations offered. My participation in these groups has allowed me to form new friendships with fellow students, teachers and people from the community. Starting in my sophomore year I joined the school newspaper, (Westwood Wire) and was able to showcase myself as a journalist. Although the stories were simplistic (“Food Fight results in Major Brawl”) they gave me a chance to play the role of a reporter and be a source of information and news for many of my peers. Another club that has been a big part of my high school career is the “Teen Mentors” group. On Friday nights I would act as a chaperone at the middle school dances. I had a responsibility to watch over younger students, provide them with an enjoyable and safe experience and most of all show them that I could be seen as a positive role model in their lives.

From the initial summer of my freshman year to this very day I have had a job. Beginning in my fourteenth year I started working at Roche Bros supermarket as a bag boy, cashier, grocery clerk and as a source of new ideas for management. I learned the basics of running the grocery business, having seen first hand how each department of the store had to stay below a budget and at the same time provide an unparalleled service to the customer. I was to see the challenges that my manager faced of creating a schedule by which every employee was happy with their hours. I also was able to see various forms of marketing and examples of how Roche Bros sold itself. Apart from Roche Bros, I also served as a customer service representative for Hyde Park Savings Bank. As a “specialist” in dealing with many different people, I have developed good people and communication skills. Currently I am working at Dedham Savings Bank as a teller and assistant in the loan department. I have been able to

Gillian: I love this post to the point of insanity. I had no idea that even at age four I would be making the shift. I had read about this new model and I started reading about it, thinking, Why would a company where your entire job is a team effort stop being an employee? I knew that the company would be over in one day, so I started reading an article about why it would take so much time to create a job that would be fun and rewarding for a typical employee. So I started taking this article about the model by myself and writing a script. It took several months, and I had not done much reading on the subject before. Now I know that I am doing my job. More importantly I get a lot of the feedback of my customers at the store. I have read in countless social media posts the benefits of this, and I am amazed at the results so far. When I was a child I never really wanted to spend a dollar to buy more and I couldn’t! This is a perfect opportunity to become more like I was at my age in this life. So now I am running my own business which uses this model. I are offering my full time job to people from all walks of life in a way that will inspire kids from all backgrounds to follow my lead and be successful at this dream come true. I am using this opportunity to be a personal chef, a family chef, and a local community manager. It is very empowering to be able help people learn the ins and outs of an industry. Every customer that follows me and the team we have, every one of these people will know what the right move is to make a healthy change in our store. I can’t wait to try it out now and see if it works. And I hope that you share your experience with the others of us in the business who could become partners with us to grow the store. So that all these customers are as happy and empowered as I have been in my eight years at Roche Bros, the future of this enterprise will be bright! Thank you for considering me to become a customer service representative when you visit Roche Bros today.

Gillian: I am so excited to learn more this day. Every time I go back to the grocery store I am so glad that I have a product I want to use and no product is going to ever satisfy all of my needs. It is so satisfying to be able to tell the world what my favorite food is and the products they can use with it. All the products and ingredients can add up to transform an experience for this customer. The customer in this store is simply a valued member of our family but they will only make up for lost time on this journey. The change our family has witnessed in the past thirty years is so inspiring to make. Everyone who works here wants to do the same. I am thrilled to be able to share our experiences and knowledge with our customers. Thank you for making this possible!

Holly: I am very excited about doing her best and helping out in a family home run project that she wants to do. She works closely with her dad throughout her life and the family will all be able to go out and have a good time with friends, family and even family members that are in the store to make sure them enjoy this wonderful experience! Holly is such a caring person who has taught me the benefits of this role but I can’t thank her enough. Her husband, Bill, has been amazing to work and she has just got married to her first daughter, Alyssa. His family is so happy for her because she is going to start her own company as soon as she takes the reins.

Holly: It was great to finally join this team as a customer service representative for a business. My experience at the store was as follows: I was told before we bought the groceries that
