It was done when a Chinese food supplier was found taking expired poultry and then re-preparing the meat and serving it to the customers. McDonalds ingredients are flown in from Shanghai Hsui, and it has now shut down because of health and safety violations.

The consumer will have to stop work, the family will have less income and savings. To help the family and keep up with the treatment bills their children might have to enter labor force early. Thus, the unhealthy person becomes burden. When more customers will suffer from heart problems, stroke or diabetes, there will be a decline in the overall fast-food business as the customers will feel insecure towards fast-food. The competitors will make less profit and they might consider reducing their staffs number. This will increase the unemployment rate. Let say, if people get heart disease and can no longer work then the nations GDP, welfare, happiness, and healthiness will decline.
