Media sources have used the term“ helicopter parents” to describe a type of discipline where parents become overly involved in their childs lives. Some parents begin helicoptering early in their childs life. This helicoptering, or hovering, is often detrimental to the growth and maturity of the child.On the decline birth rate society, children are always considered the apple of parents’ eyes, which is especially in single-child families. Although it may sound like a good idea for a parent to be involved in their childs life, helicopter parents often protect them to the extreme. There are some potential drawbacks when parents become overly involved.

According to the report, helicopter parenting reaches startling and acceptable heights in China. And this includes accompanying children to university. Some parents just go for the first week or two. They think that they should not escort their children to colleges and universities as the students are already adults and should be independent. But other parents think that they should accompany their children on the first trip to colleges and universities are a good way of showing that they love their children. Several hundred parents slept on mats en masse in a gym so they could be with their children and help them.   Parents all love their children. Most of the college students are the only children in their families, so their parents care about them. Entering the university means a big turning point in these students lives because they now have try to take care of themselves. But their parents accompanied them to school. It means that they should learn to live our life alone, and still need their parents to help. I think that University is a place to learn knowledge, and Train students independent, so that they can have on the basis of a fast connection the ability to live in the future society. Parents should try to let go of their hand and let the children go outside adventures to try new things. This way is better than you have to help them incessantly.
