Family members should encourage the cessation of smoking and avoidance of second-hand smoke during and after pregnancy.

Providing more food to women in pregnancy is important.
Health profession educates women in pregnancy what to eat, what to not eat during pregnancy, and how to eat properly.
After delivery, health profession shows a mother how to breast feed and explains the importance of breast feeding.
5Vaccination >> Prevention rather than cure
Go to hospital and take vaccine.
Rotavirus vaccine protects children from rotaviruses, which are the leading cause of severe diarrhea among infants and young children.
Baby vaccine- Doctors need to explain a mother which vaccine is recommended for her child.
6Prevention:
Buy mosquitoes net designed for infants in order to prevent malaria.
Buy infant warmer for infants who need more immunity.
7 Extra
Extend home visiting and case management services to mothers who are high risk for an adverse outcome.
Promotion of good nutrition through the services provided at the day care center could be an effective method of preventing malnutrition among those children who dwell in urban slums with poor physical environments.
