Writing Sample Group Activity
STEP 1
Go to page 18 in HIBW, and follow the directions under “Application” #1. This will constitute your writing sample. Then attach your sample as a Word file and send it to your group members only. The following procedure will show you how to do that.
[note: You will be assigned to a group as soon as all students enroll in this course. So be patient. I hope to have everyone in a group by Wednesday of the first week of classes. I will email you when I have assigned you to a group.]

In MESSAGE box, type Here is my writing sample.
Attach your writing sample as a Word file by the end of the day, Thursday, August 31st.
Read the samples from all your group members and reply to each briefly (for the rest of our course, briefly will mean between 75-150 words) by clicking the REPLY button at the bottom of the screen by the end of the day Sunday, September 3rd.

Write a business email that introduces you to the entire class. Be sure to answer the following questions as part of your text.
