Ecocampus Case
This poster shows a symbolic of the nature and preserving the nature in the campus. The green colour on the poster is to show the affection of the nature itself on the campus. On top of that, there are 4 symbol that represents its own meaning . They are is green bicycle ,green rubbish can, green car and green bulb. The green bicycle imposed the using of bicycle around the campus. This can reduce the pollution that had been made by the vehicle in the campus especially busses and cars. The green rubbish imposed that the environment of the campus are clean from the rubbish. It encourages students of University of Malaysia Sabah to throw their rubbish in the nearest rubbish can. It also seed the spirit of loving the nature in the long term. The green car symbol in the poster also have its own meaning. It is to promote to the students to reduce the using of petroleum vehicle around the campus. Instead, try using a more eco-vehicle such as bicycle since the distance between lectures hall and students hostels is not far. And the other symbol is green bulbs symbol in the middle of the poster. Since 2010 , we have been practicing the Earth-Hour campaign. So why not practicing it in the campus. Instead of turning off light exactly at 11.00 P.M or whenever you are not using it, it can reduce the cost and at the same time reduce the heat produced by the bulbs. 1 Bulbs might not affect much, but as 1 community, it can bring a lot of effect to the society around the campus. In this eco-campus environment, there are 5 main objectives that try to be exposed to the students and people around the campus. The first one is Maintaning Harmony environment. Green environment no doubt will bring a better and harmony life and there is no pollution such as air pollution that can disturb people doing their assignment and activity. The second is protects the campus from pollution. Throwing rubbish in the garbage can, using bicycle in the campus, reduce the using of fuel vehicle can lead to
