My Greatest Strengths and My Deepest Passion
Everyone in life has a purpose, it’s up to you to define and live that purpose. In finding who you are you learn to find your strengths and talents along the way. In finding your strengths and talents you define who you are, you define what will make you successful in life.  In reading the strength finder 2.0 book, it helps me define my greatest strengths and my deepest passion.  Develop 5 top strengths in reading this book and taking a survey and this help me realize my true passion and talent. My signature theme was futuristic. I am a person who think and dream about what my future will hold. My future fascinates me; my future motivates me to strive for more. I visualize what my future may hold for me, and this is what pulls me forward into tomorrow. I am a dreamer who sees visions of what could be and who cherishes my visions. My life goal is to be happy and successful and I want my future to consist of that. After doing strength finders and finding my top five strengths I will use my talents within my career by always applying them in my life situations. My career will consist of meeting different patients every hour of the day, treating these patients and giving these patients hope. Nursing is not an easy everyday job but by using my talents I know that it’s something I can handle and be great at.The strength/talents I most want to develop is learning to be patient with life and learning to let things happen and not trying to rush and force things. And I feel as if patient falls under the category of belief. If you believe in something you can achieve it. In life I worry a lot about my success and my future and I tend to want to rush things to happen and not give it time to happen. Having patients and believing are key factors of becoming successful in life and those are thing I think I want to develop more in. Life is not easy but taking it one step at a time can make it easier. I develop my boat by thinking of me and how I approach life. I looked at the boat analogy and seen it was broken down into five pieces (steps). And when looking at the pieces I noticed every piece of the boat is important because without one of these pieces the boat will not function. But I realized every piece has its own worth and function differently to keep the boat going. The Hull of the boat is the main part of the boat, without the hull there will be no boat. The Hull is the core of the boat and the greatest impact on the boats success. So in picking my hull I had to think about which strength had the greatest impact on me. That strength was futuristic. My future has the greatest impact on me, my future is the center of who I am and always has the greatest impact on my thoughts, actions and feelings. The next main function of a boat are the oars which move the boat forward but moving the oars takes work and may make me feel tired. So my strength that defines my oars was being an achiever. Achieving big things in life may not come easy and may take a lot of work to do but at the end you feel satisfy and joyful. The next main function of my boat was the sail. Something that always keeps the boat moving forward in the right direction but comes more natural. My strength that defines my sail is being a realtor. Being a realtor keeps me moving forward but it’s something that’s come natural for me something I don’t have to think about to do and it makes me feel successful still. My next function was my rudder. My rudder is my responsibility, without having responsibility in life, I would not be able to function, or have a sense of direction. The last but not least part of my boat is the anchor. The anchor grounds my boat and keeps my boat stable. My belief is my anchor this is what grounds me and keep me stabilize. My belief needs to be in place in order for the rest my boat to function.
