GOVT 2306-23010Fall 2017Dr.Barbara MorchowerWord Count: 1137Title: Issues for Texas In The 2016 Presidential Election of Donald Trump9/10/2017Illegal immigrants have turned out to be the most concerning issues in America. American people believe that because of illegal immigrants their life becomes harder. They believe that illegal immigrants take their job away, crime in society and drugs dealing and so on.  Presidential election held on November 8, 2016, Immigration was the most multiplex and very debated controversy among all the debates. The policy disagreement between president Donald Trump and presidential candidates Hillary Clinton was uncommon, especially with regards to one of the most questionable issues in election cycle was Reform on US immigration. On 2016 Presidential debated, Hillary Clinton lifted up immigration reform a way to citizenship, setting up an Immigrants Affairs office to facilitate immigration management and Obamas executive requests on the Deferred Action for parents of U.S Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) programs. Whereas President Donald Trump asked for a great wall to build between Mexico and U.S, ban on Muslims while entering the United States, and supported repealing Obamas official requests for the DAPA and DACA programs. The government of America is intending to build a great wall on the U.S Mexico border. It can help and furthermore hurt the American citizen. Although some people have believed in building a great wall on U.S- Mexico border can control the people who come to America through Illegally, building a great wall can control the drugs that have been brought from Mexico and help to keep out the crime that is occurring in Mexico. In a speech on 2016 October 22, president Donald Trump said that, if he was elected, He is going to corporate with Congress to close the “End Immigration Act,” which means that building a great wall in between U.S. and Mexico border which includes that Mexico is going to pay off it (Jamie 2). According to the Trump campaign, the cost of building a wall would be between $5 to $10 billion. President Enrique Pena Nieto from Mexico has expressed that their country “no way” to pay for the wall. According to Donald Trump, to pay for the wall there are many possible ways; expanding the visa fees and crossing border cards and also strictly authorizing exchange duties. There is the question about the border wall after the wall is completed, how compelling will it be? To Build a wall President Trumps has a few necessities that should be met. The first one is wall should be built through reinforced concrete and another necessity was the wall shouldnt be easily climbed by the people to cross the border. Wall is great but building to separate two nations is a waste of money and time. since it doesnt help the circumstance. The cost for building a wall is too must. Building a wall to ban illegal immigrants wont simply cost lots of money, Americas economy will be weak. Its hard to prejudge the viability of something that hasnt done it before in America. Likewise, theres no assurance that there will be subsidized properly and constructed subsequently. It will be fascinating to perceive how it going to work. Building a great wall in Mexico border wouldnt aid the control over free Illegal immigrants. The most considerable decision made by Donald Trump on Immigration was not about the great wall, or who will pay for it, or something else. On September 5, Trump decided to announce, that trump administration would be going down the DACA or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Inside or outside he didnt say about this program and most of the people didnt think or know about and even fewer people understood this program. Almost 800,00 young unauthorized immigrates were protected from deportation under DACA program since 2012 and they could work legally (Abramson 3). Under the protection of DACA programs, immigrants were the grownup in the US; people wont expect they are unapproved immigrants, and they dont even know by themselves until the point that they were teenagers. This program allowed them to build their lives here. Under the Trump administration, the DACA program is going to end on 5th March 2018. As for now, the new application wont be accepted by the Department of Home Land Security for this program. According to Abramson, around 800,000 individual who is presently secured under this program are not going to see their changing status promptly but could be deported if Congress couldnt pass a law within March giving them protection (Abramson 5). The half-year delay was proposed to give enough time to Congress to supplant the program with a lasting legislative solution. End of DACA program will affect the economy of the country. Most of the people who are under the DACA program are student and Job holder. If they all are deported then who is going to pay the car loan, credit card balance and mortgage loan.
