what is Vioxx?
Vioxx was a drug that reduce inflammation and eased the pain of menstrual cycles, and/or pain after dental or surgical procedures. the active ingredient was Rofecoxib. the pill was admisitered orally and the lowest dose was given to each patient.
the side effects of Vioxx
teh side effects of vioxx were many. some required immediate attention when encountered and others would pass on their own.
patients would seek immediate attention if:
they noticed Ð*black, tarry stools
Ð*blurred vision
Ð*decrease in the amount of urine passed
Ð*difficulty breathing
Ð*fainting or passing out
Ð*fast heartbeat
Ð*fatigue, weakness, or sleepiness
