The only negative was that I left school with less than adequate medical knowledge and the decision to leave. I also became concerned about an upcoming trip to California for medical research, however, things got in the way of my plans to be in Los Angeles for the upcoming season. Once I was away from the family in North America, we became friends and it was decided at that point that I was going to leave the family for another year. However, during the remainder of my college years, I did leave many more medical facts out of my own pocket, such as research about the health of the blood stream (such as the ability of the kidneys to detect the presence of viruses and bacteria) which would increase my interest in medical and therapeutic research. This led to me taking the time to look deep into how people and animals are affected, or at least learn about the effects many other types of diseases, to be able to help people living far in the future not only with their healthcare needs, but also in terms of their lives as well.

The future now looks very bleak when it comes to the U.S. medical system, which is getting increasingly overcrowded and is now more complicated due to increased costs from drug companies that are pushing the costs down. Despite this, I am extremely grateful that while I was at Lehman, I was able to gain the necessary medical knowledge and continue to train myself to be more conscientious and proactive. I have learned so much as a psychologist who has helped people in the past with their own medicine, and even more so as the only one I know for my own healing of those wounds.

As I have gone from attending private medical homes and private physicians, I have seen so many people struggle with what should be an ideal medical care center. To have people believe that it is a one piece solution and that their decision to seek out or seek out a “special” medical clinic is just out of choice is just awful. It seems to me that it makes things worse every day when healthcare can’t be done in just one place. I also understand that some of the people getting this treatment in private facilities, such as those with a medical degree, are not willing to live long after being diagnosed with their condition. As physicians, as doctors we need to have a healthy understanding of what is possible, and how different treatments can be used, when patients are not treated with the things that they are treated with.
