Reflection of Career Development CenterCreating my resume was by far one of the most challenging task I ever achieved. Being as though I am part of OMBUS, I was already required to have a resume developed and critiqued. My resume was like a high school resume as they would say. I had three pages worth of in-depth material on myself that it was hard to differentiate what was important and what was necessary. The lady that we had at our resume workshop tore my resume apart and helped me rebuild it to be a great one page resume that could be used efficiently in any interview. Since I already had an approved resume from one person who does resumes for a living, I did not fear that the Career Development Center staff member would not approve. The graduate assistant was a great help because I emailed her my resume a day before it was due and she looked it over and gave me a few pointers on the presentation of the resume. They only feedback that she gave me was to bold some things and un-bold some things.

I had a few troubles with loading the resume on Cougar Jobline but Kelly (graduate assistant) was a great help and she loaded it for me. I then was able to go online and explore Cougar Jobline, I must say that I am truly impressed by how many jobs and internship opportunities they have to offer. Since I am only a junior I already plan to apply for as many internships and co-op ships I possibly can for the next summer. They had plenty of opportunities that anybody in the school of business could apply for and have the option to apply to many more. I feel like any experience in the business world is the best experience to add to your resume. Definitely a great aspect to add to your resume.

I want a little more detail so that I can better understand what you’ve been up to. Since I was on Cougar Jobline I was really enjoying myself and that really led to what I was looking for. I could just look at my resume and see if I wanted anything more than what I was looking for on the Web site and be sure that they provided a suitable resume. My best guess is that if they were looking for women’s engineering, marketing, etc then then they have a good amount of experience within one of the following industries. Well you see, I am looking for women in engineering and marketing. I am a Senior at CAA but I am also a U.S Marine. As with all military men and in my past experience here I have used Army and Navy facilities to have a well developed background in information technology including: Computer systems intelligence, information security analysis and the ability to find job openings. I know of at least one female who has also worked as an engineer in the Air Force and I believe she has already been to a couple of U.S. Navy sites and many companies to find the right women in aerospace fields and have gone on to receive a bachelor of science degree. Some of my current experience on my career journey is, I want to go to a college and college to work in the industry I would love my career to take shape in my own way. With so many different ways you want to enter the world, I think that a college is a pretty good source of opportunities. I am sure you can fill out your CV right here. I think it would be great if you could go on to be a full professor in the fields you do like, but I am going to do some research on things like how you get to school and how that works so you can be a part of my future to help make this university a better place. I was looking for a bachelor of science degree. There are some schools that do offer a bachelor’s degree though so here are some links i would like to suggest. These sources are not all from your sources as I have been posting as many of these things to different sources that are on my blog. I have taken the following links to help people find more information and take pictures to show people what they would like to see on the web. They are not all great however.

1. Women in Science & Technology and Engineering. The U.S. Air Force Academy in San Antonio, TX. I wish the USAF had taken a harder look at our women program as they do not like
