Description of Greenhouse Effect
Before we can understand global warming, we have to understand what the greenhouse effect is, and how they differ. The greenhouse effect is the name applied to the natural process which causes the surface of the Earth to be warmer than it would have been in the absence of an atmosphere. The greenhouse effect is like a thermal blanket which traps heat emitted from the EarthÐŽ¦s surface, thereby warming and insulating the Earth. Without the natural greenhouse effect, the earthÐŽ¦s climate would be about 60 degrees cooler, and many living things including humans, would not be able to survive. Global warming is the name given to an expected increase in the magnitude of the greenhouse effect, where the surface of the Earth will almost inevitably become hotter than it is now. The greenhouse effect, unlike global warming, is not a danger to our planets wellbeing.

Scientists believe that because of this increase in Greenhouse gases which contains Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorocarbons will cause a massive change in climate or what we called Global Warming. The danger of Global Warming comes from producing gases at increasing rates, the result is negative. This catastrophic phenomenon of global warming caused major flooding and horrific Hurricanes. Hurricane Katrina is very good example of the effect of global warming, this natural phenomenon totally damaged everything surrounded buy it, other consequences of Global Warming is the increase of the prevalence of insects, Sea level rising, and earth precipitation maybe redistributed. These changes in nature will most likely cause negative effect on society, lower health and decreasing economic development.

What Causes The Greenhouse Effect?
When humans release gases into the air, the greenhouse effect will alter the temperature of the earth. More gases in the atmosphere means the earth will start to get warmer, and the result is global warming. On the other hand, if there was no greenhouse effect, the earth would be too cold for humans to comfortably exist.

In order to talk about global warming, we must first learn what causes the greenhouse effect. The three most common greenhouse gases are water vapor, carbon dioxide, and methane. Many of the sunÐŽ¦s rays are absorbed
