The IPCC is the highest-rated agency of the U.S. government. Its major responsibilities include forecasting the climate and the effects of climate on the entire economy; preparing the economic system, policies and procedures to be implemented, assessing and supporting the scientific findings of all international and national governments with regard to climate change, monitoring and reporting on climate change to the public, and evaluating and implementing laws, practices and obligations in response to human-caused climate change.
