Despite advice given by medical professionals, media and public obesity has become an epidemic worldwide, Ghana is no exception. Although Obesity is usually characterized by being overweight that is not usually the case. Some members of the society could be overweight and not obese since the category obese is specifically for when your body mass index is over 30 and overweight is generally recognized as having a body mass index equal to 25 but less than 30. Obesity is frowned upon in societies all over the world because of the various health conditions that are associated with this condition. My Objective with this application is to determine the number of people in our Ghanaian society who are obese.

My long-term goal is to educate the public about all sorts of risks associated with obesity and also reduce the number of obese people in our Ghanaian society. By pursuing the following specific aim. I will gather data essential for a formal request to implement a policy that will make Ghanaians prone to becoming obese eat healthy and exerciseSpecific Aim: Survey on the nutritional content in their daily mealsMajority of Ghanaians do not actually check they daily nutritional intake, most think its necessary by encouraging Ghanaians to take notice of their nutritional intake we could count how many obese are in our society this can be achieved by organizing seminars and by counting how many attend these seminars and also complete Specific Aim: Survey on members in societies ages 18 and above                                      Obesity can be determined by using an individual’s height and weight  which is called body mass Index (BMI). A BMI of 30 and above is regarded as obese what is often mistaken is that not all overweight individuals are obese a BMI of 25 and above and less than 40 is considered overweight and not obese. This aim can be achieved when members of the society provide this information to a select group of individuals
