Technology is a growing as rapid as the world is today bringing several thing into the public’s eye that may have once been looked past in the daily events. One situation that has been brought to light is as has been a large controversy over is the boarder breech in the states of Texas and Arizona. In the state of Texas over a thousand of unclaimed immigrant children crossed the border, since they did not have any adults accompanying them the states did not know how to handle the inflection. Many protester wanted to force the children back, while others wanted to accept them. One side said it would cost money and the other claimed it was the rightful thing to do but neither side could full agree on what needs to be done. After much debate the Government of the State of Texas decided to house the children until the United States as a whole figured out what to, as well as increasing the boarder portal in the states. Define free will, truth, knowledge, and opinion. Explain how we use them to form thoughts. What role does each play in critically assessing situations?

Free will is a noun defined as the ability to choose how one may act (“Webster”, 2014). Free will is something every person is born with it allows to them express themselves and have their own thoughts, however in some countries they may not be able to express their thoughts or desires but they still have the free of will to think them. A prime example of free will is an individual waking up in the morning and deciding to go help out at any type of shelter for free, they choose to do this because it makes them happy and they are willing to do, thus allowing their free will to direct them to do such acts.

Truth is the quality or state of being true (“Webster”, 2014). When forming thoughts or facts to share with others it is important that there is a truth to them. For instance if a person continues to lie about little things such as the boy who cried wolf people will eventually stop talking and believing into that person this can may it for this person to be seen as reliable, truthful or even knowledgeable.
