Additionally, managers or leaders should facilitate transition occur smoothly and successfully in their organization. As managers and leaders, good communication skill is very important. They should able to communication well with others so to promote and facilitate change (Sullivan and Decker 2009). The following tools may help the managers to facilitate transition of changes successfully;

1. Communicate openly and honestly with employees who oppose change2. Maintain support and confidence in staff even if they are resistive to change3. Emphasize the positive outcomes from initiating change.4. Find solutions to problems that are obstacles to change.5. Accept the constancy of change.6. Identify the problem or opportunity.1.Collect necessary data and information.2.Select and analyze data.3.Develop a plan for change, including time frame and resources.*Identify supporters or opposes.*Build a coalition of supporters.*Help people prepare for change.*Prepare to handle resistance.*Provide a feedback mechanism to keep everyone informed of the progress of change.*Evaluate effectiveness of the change and, if successful, stabilize the change.

As the campaign has matured and the message has become more nuanced, we’ve seen more and more stories of trans people being harassed or even assaulted as result of their appearance. But we’ve also seen many stories of transgender people being victimized in harassment cases, in general. These stories of trans people being targeted is the result of multiple causes, a lack of awareness, political and economic, and the influence of powerful businesses and trans people at times.

On May 4, in a letter to the editor of a local newspaper, a transgender man was beaten and assaulted by an unknown assailant on the street. One of the assailants was a business owner and the victim said the aggressor got into his car and told the police his name was Mark Smith, “It was a call to action. He got a call saying (the victim) should not go in, so he had to go out and do things like a girl’s locker room. This case should never have happened, but it did.”[/p>

Some may say that if we just started from scratch, trans people are going to die. Well, this has nothing to do with gender, but rather with physical appearance/gender expression, physical health, emotional and mental health, or self esteem. However, if we take our ideas about gender equality and trans issues seriously, our work and advocacy will not stop here. This is not to say that we should do away with the history of gender confusion; there are strong and diverse trans communities to work with. But rather, we need to take our perspective and develop a process that is progressive at the root, and is based truly on compassion, acceptance, and truth. We need to build organizations, campaigns, and organizations that work together to end gender identity oppression, improve relationships, and create a safer, more respectful world. That is something we will be seeing for years, and we’re not done yet.

Our goal is to help people face change on their own terms that will make their lives better. This is what we must do to succeed on this task in the longer haul.
