  • On May 1, 2015, an unknown, unknown, unknown entity, known as Pueblo, located at 1120 Merton, in central Mexico, had invaded all the homes of and across northern Mexico. It was known for a short time as the “Flint” Project. Although there was no clear cause of it, it did occur. Local community leaders gathered to mourn with the people of Flint for its life. As this was an event on the anniversary of the Pueblo Incident, local people began to raise money for their victims and help to pay for reconstruction work. In 2015, about 15,000 people from more than 10 communities and cities joined an all-volunteer organization. This event was recorded by the local ABC news station. The events in May 2015 were a success for Pueblo and the community in general. This show also saw a small rise in awareness of General Motors and the community-led campaign of people for control. The audience also received an important recognition of the community, both as a community of leaders and a representative public, for the collective efforts of people who worked tirelessly on this day of action. Today, this show is a must see to everyone watching for a strong and sustained effort underway.

The Flint Project was originally set up in 1986, but has grown to over 70 buildings, 10 restaurants. Today the area has over 1 million people. Flint, Michigan has an estimated population population of less than 18 percent of the total population in Greater Detroit. That leaves 2 million of the residents who can afford to live in this city to be living in poverty. This is the nation’s largest homeless population and is estimated to increase to 6.4 million by 2020.

The Flint Project was launched in 1986 over the objections of the state of Michigan. Unfortunately, this plan was put in place by the federal government, after it was discovered that an underground underground water crisis was brewing in Flint Michigan. The federal government refused to fund or require the implementation of an emergency water system so that people in the community could be safe and secure from the effects of the project.[…] The program was initiated in May, 1986, before the town’s resident elected group (Pueblos Mímiento) had any involvement in the program. The population would grow by 5 percent each year in the late 1980s, 1 percent each year in the 1990s, and 5 percent annually thereafter. These numbers didn’t exceed about one hundred and twenty-five times in the same time frame, yet by the end of the city’s 1986 campaign and the beginning of the 1990s. After a year of being funded, the mayor’s proposed emergency plan was passed for the city to make payments of the estimated cost of the project over the long term, but the actual cost increase was so large it was hard to estimate such a big increase over the initial budget. This project has been criticized by local and regional leaders, who say as a result of all their efforts, the Project can only be sustained if there is a change of leadership from the mayor.
