MY FIRST VALENTINEā€™S DAY
Valentineā€™s Day is the day when people show their affection for another person by sending anonymous cards, flowers, or chocolate with messages of love. It is also the most romantic day of the year for lovers. In contrast, the first valentine I spent with my present boyfriend three years ago was not really romantic. It has become the most interesting and wonderful anniversary that my boyfriend and I have never forgotten.

My boyfriendā€™s name is Tung. We studied together in high school and had been friend for three years. When we graduated, a friend of mine, Ngoc Thao, told me that she likes him, but she was very shy to ask him a date. Consequently, I helped her to contact with him. Tung, Thao, and I usually went out together, but Tung neither talked to Thao nor looked at her. Finally, he admitted that he loved me and asked me to be his girlfriend. Therefore, it was our first Valentineā€™s Day after we had started going out with him for four months.

The restaurant is very beautiful and romantic, and the food is delicious, so everybody would like to come here. It is not easy to have a table in the Valentine, but my boyfriend has booked ones before. We ate steak under the light of candles. There was a singer who was playing the piano and singing Only Love. Everything seemed wonderful. Suddenly the door of the restaurant opened, and a couple came into the restaurant. We recognized that they were our chemistry teacher and physical teacher in high school. I did not know what to do, so I bent my head down and hoped that they would not see us. But they also recognized us and came to our table. I did not know whether to laugh or cry because I was too embarrassed. I did not even look at them. I thought that they would laugh at us because we were still too young to love, but they just said ā€œHiā€. They might be embarrassed too. After that, they sat at the table next to us because it was the last one in the restaurant. After few minutes, I was not shy any more and started looking
