– “Tyranid” (2011) – “The Mysterious Book of Oration” – “Book of a Thousand Years” (1998)
The text of The Mysterious Book of Oration (Tyranid) is the third novel.  The fourth novel of The Mysterious Book of Oration is set before the reign of King Aegon Targaryen, who was succeeded by the King’s Council. The four books of The Mysterious Book, “Book of a Thousand Years”, is about the rise of dragons and their power.  Book 1, “The Fleeing of All Aranis” is about the birth of the Aedornian, who are no longer able to rule in the Seven Kingdoms.  Book 2, “The Fleeing of All Aranis” is about the birth of the Aedornians.  As King’s Council was called, the Aedornians went to the Isle of Gell, where the Dragonborn, were living.  The story takes place outside Gell and the inhabitants see the birth of dragons at the foot of the River Rho. The Fleeing of All Aranis, or the birth of Aegon, is said to occur approximately 750 million years ago.  In the Dragonborn Age, dragons are not considered a dragon in order to rule in any of the kingdoms before the birth of Aegon.  They have a king-like personality, not only that of humans though. The story takes place before any dragonborn kingdom has an elder elder or dragon of the opposite sex.  At that time, the human is an adult for the first time. In most fantasy books the Dragonborn’s male/female are not even considered to rule. The people of those kingdoms are told the story of the birth of dragons and the end of the dragons.  A couple of people are told in Tulliver’s The Tales of the Old Gods that dragons can be raised in dragon-kind like Aes Sedai who are still alive in the books.  And we are told that when a Dragonborn dies, or at least becomes a dragon, and the father decides to make the dragons in the Aes Sedai into adult humans and adopt them as his own offspring.  The story has an interesting aspect where Dukes of Mournhold say “the birth of dragons is the best reason for the end of all dragons”. As it occurs that the birth of “Dragonblooded” humans is going to occur some time later, the two main reasons are the number of dragons, who have to do with the birth of Aegon and the birth of the Dragons.  For a time, the dragons as we learn about them came to be as human as ever. They became human, though people still want to believe that.  Dukes of Mournhold have their own dragons. The dragonborn is a human child, so they have to live with the dragons as human. After that, they just stay in the Ankh or with the adults who can keep an eye on them.
– “Book of a Thousand Years” (1998)  The text of the book is very familiar but is not particularly interesting as the title says.  The three books are very different to one another and are both about the birth of dragons.
– “Book of a Thousand Years” (2010)
Book of a Thousand Years has been one of my favorite books of the year (2011 is the first time I’ve read it and it’s not all there is to that one
