First week in university.
First day of university, I was excited as well as bit nervous because I did not know anybody in University. Day before I slept only for three hours due to my nervousness. In the morning, I could not wake up early. I was in a rush. When I reached university on the first day, I did not know where the lecture room was. A security women directed me to the lecture room. I atmosphere was different. Then I met a girl she was so personable and we are in the same class. She is also new student.
On the first day, I felt scared about nursing and lots of question came into my mind. Am I actually going to university ? “Can I manage the University and kids” etc? I attend all lectures and afterwards feel relaxed. Staff members are extremely helpful and motivated us with different examples.
On the next day, I went to university, but I could not find parking, but luckily I saw security person and asked him where should I park my car.? He gave me direction for another parking area. I went there and found parking. We had tutorials, in the tutorial we introduce with other class and subject what are criteria of assessments and exam. We met new class mates and feel confident.
On the third day, I attend the lectures and went to the library get some books and printout of class notes.
My first week at the university was a enjoyable experience. My nervousness vanished after attending lectures and tutorials. Now i have many friends in my class. Now I am familiar about the subject, university and library. Most importantly that all this helped me change my mind about Nursing.
