In the first chapter we learned the importance of data travel using information technology is to a major enterprise. With the right analysis you can provide a company with the means to make better and more sound decisions in a timely manner. While saving the company money and investing in technology that will last longer. The first chapter also taught us how different company may rely on a different type of information systems in order to accomplish the businesses daily tasks.
In chapter 8 we learned how a well developed information system analysis can save an organization millions in purchases and in man hours. Information system planning and development is crucial to a organizations information network. Also how the end user benefits from this analysis tool. “Many end users today are already demonstrating their systems development capability by designing and implementing their own PC-based systems.”
In conclusion this first week showed us a lot of how important information technology is to small and large businesses. How information technology is designed and important tools needed to be performed to provide the best possible systems to businesses and the end user.
