Fidm Fashion Marketing & ManagementEssay Preview: Fidm Fashion Marketing & ManagementReport this essayFIDM Fashion Marketing & Management. It was about 2 years ago, I was sitting in my room looking at my clothes and it clicked I realized I wanted to be in fashion industry. FIDM is my dream school and it will help me get my AA degree in the designing side of fashion and marketing as well as BTEC level 2 Diploma in IT and a Diploma level 2 in Digital Applications. Eventually I will be a fashion Designer, and FIDM will prepare me for that. FIDM has the ideal description of what fashion designing is. A fashion designer is someone who loves to study fashion trends, sketch designs, select materials, and have a part in all the production aspects of their designs. They contribute to the creations of millions, if not billions of pieces of clothing and accessories purchased by consumers on a yearly basis. This spoke to me in many ways because I want to contribute new fashion trends that people will love and want to wear. Also, I’d get to work with some of the biggest people in this industry. FIDM offers a major in a program that I have passion for, and I know Id be a perfect fit at your school.

I believe I’m perfect for FIDM because I’m a dedicated hard worker, and I have bottled up a lot of creativity that I would love to give to other students and to show my teachers why I love fashion. I know I will be an attentive student and look forward to participating actively in my classes. My openness to other people’s ideas and concepts will allow me to grow and learn. I realized that I could contribute so much to this school like idea’s, sketch’s, pitches things like that. Re-creating and putting a twist on the clothing that I see with my own eyes every day that I go into a store would be a dream come true. A year ago, I would have never seen myself applying to this amazing school, but my creativity has talked me into applying here, and I can’t fight it. Hopefully, my passion for designing will be seen and I hope to be a successful graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

In this year of FIDM, the school is doing things to bring more students closer to the learning experience. Our first semester, a young woman has been enrolled at the Student Life Center and wants to complete her degree in 3-year-long design and engineering studies, while her sophomore year, we are building a community that will include students as diverse as myself—and girls who are of color. These students and their families will be part of the program we hold on-site during school’s Spring and Summer FIDM classes to promote diversity and to help students interact with the program in a positive way. After we have built a program for all students in the 3-year program, we are starting to think about whether we can partner with other students to offer more of this kind of experience for our students or those of our staff and students of color as we do it.

The school has a great diversity program in use, including a wide range of ethnic and sexual orientations to improve the educational outcomes. There is even an online community where students can share their own experiences of their experiences of using FIDM. All of our classes have a fair amount of diversity themes, and the goal is for everyone to feel welcome and welcome to participate in the overall program.

Our first year has grown to include students from diverse backgrounds and religions. I hope to find myself a place where I can participate openly in what I see as the school’s ongoing conversation regarding racial and gender stereotypes. By the time my junior year rolls around, I will be able to take on more of the same work I did when I was only in sixth graders, but I will have to start incorporating this work into other projects as well. This is not my first time participating in this. I was first enrolled in fashion-making as a student in high school, and then in engineering as a graduate student. While I have come a long way since those years, I know some of my peers who have felt the same way. I cannot wait to be a part of a community that encourages students to help their friends, families — and the world around them.

We are looking toward 2018 as a time to take on more diverse roles. A few of our classes will include design students from different ethnicities and religions, and we want to encourage this kind of participation. For example, while designing and delivering our designs, students will be encouraged to use the following materials in their design; such as logos, typography, and color photographs.

The first semester of this School is devoted mostly to design. All of our students are encouraged to have regular visits with me to ensure that I understand the needs of each student when they get their requests. We will look at the use of materials in these classes to learn about our community — where these students speak of the values that matter to them, what students want to see us do in the classroom, and how the school is addressing those issues.

One particular lesson I would like to highlight in my design class is how to use FIDM to bring about change in this community. In this class you will engage the students in more active ways to better understand the work that
