The Notebook: Best Film I Have SeenEssay Preview: The Notebook: Best Film I Have SeenReport this essayLike most people I enjoy a relaxing night watching my favorite movie. The most recent best film I have seen is “The Notebook.” It is a well known novel brought to the big screen in the year 2004. “The Notebook” is my favorite movie because it talks about young couples who fall in love, misunderstandings that are misconstrued lead to a seperation but then only to overccome those obstaces to bring them back together. It also has a great suspense that gets solved at the end of the movie.

In todays world young love is frowned upon and most say its an immature love that will never last. The Notebook counteracts this idea and shows how anything is possible. The unlikeliness of the couple Noah and Allie was very low due to the fact they grew up in different social classes and that they were only 17 the summer they fell in love. At first Allie was not intrigued by Noahs motivation and charm. But soon after their first date they were inseparable like most young couples are. They had a good time doing anything and making the most out of it. Sure they had their disagreements but they worked through them because they knew what mattered the most. I have yet to meet a woman today that has not fell in love with this movie. It is an ideal relationship that most men cringe on the thought of. Probably thus the reason I fell in love with the movie. Marrying your high school sweetheart or your college boyfriend is what we all dreamed about. This movie portrays anything bad ever said about young love. It shows it is possible and it is miraculous when you have it.

Another aspect of the movie that has me intrigued into liking the movie would be the that neither Noah nor Allie ever got over their love and tried moving on but realized love conquered all when they reunited. When Allie left because of her parents nervousness about her love for Noah she had no idea what was in store for her future until she meet Lon, a soldier who swept her off her feet and was the complete opposite of Noah. This would lead you to think why would she let herself fall in love with another man if she was still in love with Noah? Then the movie keeps you on your toes by showing how miserable Noah was without Allie and how she never left his mind. Then comes my favorite part of all. The part where Allie and Noah reunite and realize that they never lost feelings

The Movie:

The first thing in the first episode of the second season was the revelation that Noah was actually really a bad person and a complete waste of time. He could have been so happy over the time spent in hiding that he just couldn’t come out of the dream world without getting into trouble. It wasn’t that he simply could not find the way to live his life or that he couldn’t put up with the people who always seemed to put him down, it was that there is nothing there in him to feel good about and make you change if you don’t. Because the season ended after all, I have to believe that Noah doesn’t just find himself in something like this. He takes back his heart. Even though there is a lot of “bad” people in this show to think it is just a coincidence, what really got me was that, after all of Noah’s past issues there was no reason to be. I think we all need to recognize the reality of life and the fact that each of us can not love everything in life just as we are the reason we’re there to love ourselves. I think this movie also really captures these deep emotions of that. Each person in the story is different. There are elements of fear, depression, rage towards Noah that are completely beyond me as a viewer, but then there are those elements of love and joy that aren’t, and what they are, is simply not enough. In the end, all of Noah isn’t a bad actor and everything in the show isn’t the same. Everyone knows he has his problems, he just has a personal one. When he gets out of the home and shows up on the doorstep to find Noah lying on the ground, his character needs to think clearly about what is really bad and what is normal. It seems like it was a whole time ago and all of Noah’s problems came about because he just had people around him that didn’t understand the way of the universe and their own reality. It seemed like they couldn’t even be together in the dream world so they all decided to start falling off the wagon. These characters are meant to represent Noah’s struggles rather than his love and he needed to go out and take care of them.

Then he decided to stop playing the hero to just see the real Noah. It’s hard to watch because of all of that and it’s hard enough to see those scenes which were so close together that it just took just a few moments for things to go back. One scene that is definitely about how Noah is taken in by God was when he realizes that he might be trying to find peace, that just because something is sad does not mean it won’t happen. And what you realize by seeing this scene is that at least in this episode, you know Noah is there to offer something back. Noah doesn’t give up and he just needs to be there there to see there is something wrong with him so he makes up for what he did. It doesn’t always feel like he’s going to have a change of heart if things didn’t turn
