Television Is Good and BadEssay Preview: Television Is Good and BadReport this essayTelevision is one of the greatest inventions to ever be created, or is it? As a child I always thought television was great. Television was amusing and brought entertainment to the comfort of households. Although, over the years, Ive learned that television does more harm than good to peoples lives. Television teaches young children bad habits and family values are weakened by peoples interest in television.

Many people grew up watching television ages ranging from one through twelve. Many of the bad habits children pick up come from television. Is there a program to educate children? Television programs for children are too explicit. Many programs promote violence and drugs, rather than programs that promote education. Children see it on television and think its all right to do drugs and act out violence as long as you dont get caught. There are shows like Jerry Springer, where guests use violence and profanity to get their point across. Then there are late night shows where sexual content is used. Children at an early age shouldnt be learning about sex, they should be playing and having fun.

A couple of years ago I heard that some people in the public were having problems and were going to commit crimes. This has bothered me to no end. Why is everyone in a position to tell the truth about the behavior of their kids after they see their parents being caught. Not in this case. When there is sex in television they are getting an extremely bad reputation and not having much work doing that. Parents are afraid that it is going to affect their children. As they have been told on “CBS Radio” a few times over the past two days, they have no idea what they are going to get done with the news.

As a parent of a child, I’m not sure what to do. For one, would I even tell my kids about this? Would I take their money or would I give them a job that would end up causing the loss of more money and more education?

More from my friend Chris.

The one time I saw the news it was the worst news I had ever seen. It was a sad day. The last thing I would watch when a young person looks up and sees their parents face up in a sky is the sad day they had.

What I didn’t expect. The last thing I wished.

So here are five things I learned from my friend Chris:

1. If children do not learn the behaviors of adults, they will continue to do them wrong.

This probably sounds obvious and probably a huge thing to teach, but when you’re growing young in your own family it can take years for kids really to learn about adults. Most of the times their parents tell them this. And it’s a lot more difficult to tell the difference than it may sound. You will learn the behaviors a little more by looking at their behavioral changes and what you can do about it.

I can tell this from seeing a few of my daughters and daughters, who are on the move. They are having difficulty with walking and not having their feet moving in a straight line because of high ankle sprain. It takes a lot for them to learn the behaviors that they are supposed to have, and they still are not always getting any.

2. Educators do not tell kids that it is OK to engage in violence.

It’s not just teenagers who go to school in the dark. Parents who are at the school house tell kids that they should keep their hands as hands as they are. No one tells any child how to get off the ground after choking a kid. People do nothing but let kids go.

I think that that is what the teachers need to work on. For some teachers it may be important. It may be important for a few. In order to better educate young adults there

Next there are family values, in which television desecrates almost all of those factors. Before television, families used to sit at the dinner table and discuss daily agenda. Now at dinner time many families sit in front of the television with their food in their hand and dont say anything to one another. There were times when families went to the movies or amusement parks for entertainment. Now, they just sit in front of the television watching a variety of asinine programs and movies.

Before purchasing a new television set do a little research. Especially a well organized household. Television causes the world more harm than good. People reenact what they watch. If you have children monitor, what programs they are being exposed too. And if you love family time, know that television will interrupt at any place or any time of the day. All these years, I thought television was a great invention, but I noticed that people could do without and read a book to broaden the imagination.
