Doing the Extra Mile
DOING THE EXTRA MILEIn my 39 years of existence, Ive learned that one of the most important principles in life is DOING AN EXTRA MILE. What is it? How do you define extra mile? It is doing more than what is required to reach a goal. It is making more effort that is expected from you. This principle will not only be an advantage at work, it will also be an advantage for you as a person. By doing an extra mile, you will be successful and you will 100% guaranteed achieve your dreams. In order for you to be successful, you need to change the way you think. You can only win by making extra efforts. Accomplishing your goal for the day is definitely okay. But it will be so much better if you will think of ways to even meet your goal in a short span of time. Take for example, an appointment setter who are calling and inviting customers in California or Canada. How can they go the extra mile? They tend to be satisfied for having one or two appointments in a day. But in order for them to exceed their targets, they need to work hard and make extra efforts. They can research about the place they are calling to, the cities, the addresses or even telephone numbers. They can use social media such as facebook. Adding more friends in their country can give you possible customers and referrals. They can even read an article or a book on how to convince people, book about sales, about travelling or about persuading people. By doing this extra mile, you will be prepared for your next battle. You will know how to handle rejections and objections. People will become aware of the hard work, the concern, the attitude and the determination that you have. You will then attract positivity’s and new opportunities.
