Was acquisition of these trade goods worth native Americans changing their lifestyle? The Native American refers to historic trade between Europeans and their north American descendants. The term Indian trade describes the people involved in the trade. The products involved varied by region and era. Europeans and Indians was often marred by conflict. Native Americans was sporadic and lasted only for couple of decades. What did native Americas want from the Europeans? They wanted all kind of things they wanted metal pots and capper kettle to replace the bowls. They also wanted glass beads decorative jewelry, woolen blankets and guns. They became more dependent on the Europeans goods even welcomed the setting of trading post.Trade was not introduced to America with the arrival of Europeans. The Europeans had to establish operation on both sides of the Atlantic. Trade was an element of aboriginal societies native American we mainly substance producers.  Native groups traded nevertheless far more important than the exchange of one item for another. With the arrival of Europeans trading by native Americans increased by orders of magnitude both in volume and in the variety of good traded. To me Europeans really traded the native American lives in many ways that I didn’t even know of. They went through so much. The colonies could not import any Europeans goods without the ship carrying them. While the acquisition of new goods improve their life style it also eroded their lives.  And all of this happened during the 17th century.  What goods or devices in modern society have we adopted in modern society that have made our lives easier, but also caused harm to ourselves or to our environment?
