A Project Proposal“Effacing Malnutrition and promoting a healthy lifestyle among youth”EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: In today’s world, a healthy body is one of the foundation of a healthy mind. At early age, one should be introduce on the significance of nutritional educations and having it practiced. Poor nutrition or what is so called Malnutrition, is indeed a globally cause of concern and children are the most affected by this condition. With regards to this, the emphasis will be placed on addressing two major problems:Poor nutritional health/ Physical deficiency and,Impaired cognitive development of childrenNot just by means of physical but in terms of work quality specifically poor academic performance manifest the malnutrition. In this case, the offered plan which is the Feeding Program will be the most outreached solution to address this dilemma. This project, by its nature seeks to give solution on the above problems and aims to promote balanced physical and cognitive development of children.The target of this plan is towards the Grade 1-3 pupils of Daraga North Central School wherein the participants of the said program are randomly chosen based on the school record of students BMI (Body Mass Index) and the qualified pupils belongs to the wasted/underweight and below the nutritional standard. The group will assess the location in partnership with the school personnel and the prospective leaders and volunteers.The design concept is both cost-effective and efficient. The estimate setup time and completion of the proposed project is approximately 4 months, with continuous monitoring of the children’s progress and development. The group strongly believe that this will prove to be a worthwhile foundation and will satisfy the above objectives.
