In the Epic of Gilgamesh, the main character is Gilgamesh himself. In
beginning of the book you should realize that Gilgamesh is an arrogant
person. He is full of himself and takes advantage of his rights as
king.
Gilgamesh has sexual intercourse with the women of his town whether she
the wife of a warrior or the daughter of a noble man or a bride on her
wedding night, and acts as though he is a god. Throughout epic
Gilgamesh
shows outrageous skill as a warrior and leader. Tablet I says that,
“Gilgamesh is strong to perfection.” Also, “He is an awesome beast with
unmatched strength and a chant that fosters armies.
Gilgamesh was an extremely intelligent leader. It is shown throughout
epic, a sense of insight and perception that keeps him safe and his
powerful. Anyone knows that to be a great leader you have to prove that
can defend your people in the best way possible. Gilgamesh knew that by
fighting Humbaba he would prove to his people that he was strong and
powerful and that nothing could stop him not even the biggest beast.
Some people might say that Gilgamesh does not change from the beginning
the story, it can easily be taken the other way. Throughout the book,
there
are several things that cause Gilgamesh to changes such as, he gains a
friend (Enkidu), he makes a name for himself by killing Humbaba, and he
tries to become immortal because of the death of Enkidu. From beginning
