IT Project Management ReportTony Rumford, Juliet Okereke, Joshua Crider, Timothy WillbanksCMGT575November 23, 2015Nancy MingusIT Project ManagementIntroductionFor the reorganization of Kudler Fine Foods to be successful, an enterprise system is needed.  The following paper will first discuss the scope of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.  Next, it will give the activity and milestone list for the project. Followed by discussing, the work breakdown structure (WBS), for the implementation of the system. Next it will discuss the cost baseline for the project and the schedule baseline as well. Next it will discuss the list of stakeholders, their jobs on the team, and an analysis of their objectives and strategies.Scope document        The enterprise system also known as ERP integrates business processes across departments and functions of an organization into one IT system (Business Information Systems, N.D.). This prevents fragmented information but rather stored together in a comprehensive data repository is used by different part of the company (Robbins & Judge, 2011). The ERP system will be crucial for Kathy in effectively planning all aspects of Kudler Fine Foods. She will be able to control the resources of the company from one system. As she currently controls all of the ordering, the ERP system will allow her to know when and where more products need to be ordered and shipped. As certain items in a location get low, they will be easily replaced to meet the demands of the customer. The replacement happens by linking the inventory in each location with the point of sale system, informing Kathy or her managers inventory levels are low. As KFF company continues to grow this will be useful for online ordering. This will allow a customer to place orders for pick up at the location of his or her choice based on the inventory in that store. Once there is an order, it is sent to the specific location and prepared for the customer by the employee. With the use of the ERP system, the customer will know the order is ready for pickup. This is important as it allows the company to offer more services and options to the customer.        The ERP system will ensure that Kathy is not only able to maintain inventory levels, but also maintain her employees. The use of one system allows all information compiled and intergraded together. This information will be useful in determining the best time to staff her location based on purchasing habits and trends. Because the ERP system obtains all information into one system Kathy and her managers will be able to determine what time and days employees should work. This could also help determine if she needs to increase or decrease her staff based on the locations performance. In the reorganization of Kudler Fine Foods, the ERP system allows the company to plan strategically how each location is staffed to ensure the world class experience.
