With the economy in a recession it is important to invest resources in your biggest assets to make sure that the turnover of your most valued employees is minimal. Managers would agree that retaining your best employees ensures customer satisfaction, product sales, satisfied coworkers and reporting staff, effective succession planning and deeply imbedded organizational knowledge and learning.
