A Rose for Emily AnalysisEssay title: A Rose for Emily AnalysisCritical AnalysisA Rose for EmilyThroughout life people face many hardships, including life and death, letting go is such a hard thing for these people to do. In the story, A Rose for Emily, Faulkner writes about love and the effect it can have on a person . Faulkner writes about how Miss Emily loses her father and he is the only person she has in her life. Later in the story, Homer Barron came to their town to fix the streets. People begin seeing Miss Emily and Homer together and believe that they are going to get married. The time comes for Homer to leave and it was believed that Miss Emily will kill herself if she loses another person she loves. Homer disappears and Emily never exits the house, all everyone sees is the Negro entering and leaving the house. Throughout the years everyone wonders what happened to Miss Emily and Homer; in the end when Miss Emily dies they find Homers body in the upstairs room of her house. This story shows that when a person truly loves someone they will go to extreme measures to do what they have to do to keep that person in their life.

Miss Emily finds herself to be very alone after the death of her father and is willing to do what she has to do to keep someone she loves in her life. In the beginning of the story Faulkner writes that after Miss Emily loses the two sweethearts of her life she is seen very rarely. This showing that Miss Emily was lost because her two loves were gone. After her fathers death the women and minister call the house to send their condolences and Miss Emily refuses to believe that her father has past away. She kept claiming that “… her father was not dead (104).” Three days after Miss Emily’s father passes on she finally broke down and let them dispose of the body. Miss Emily didn’t want to accept the fact that her father had past on because she was so close to him and he was all she had.

Since Emily truly loved Homer, and didn’t want to lose him like she did her father she went to the extreme measure of getting arsenic and poisoning him so he couldn’t leave. Homer Barron comes to Miss Emily’s town to fix the streets, and as the story goes on Miss Emily and Homer begin being seen around town together. As the time for Homer to leave nears, people begin to talk about how they believe Miss Emily is going to kill herself if she loses another person she loves. Miss Emily goes to the drug store and tells the druggist she wants to buy some arsenic. The druggist asks Miss Emily why and receives no response other than she just wants to buy some arsenic. The druggist tells Miss Emily he can’t unless it is for the rats, but he knows that it isn’t and figures it will be for the best. When the time for Homer

to go and fix the streets passes, Miss Emily tells her to go to the drug store, but in the meantime a young girl comes knocking on the door and tells Lisa to shut the place down. As Homer opens the door and looks over Miss Emily’s eyes, Miss Emily is shocked. It’s Miss Emily! Lisa gets mad at her for not opening the door with that woman as she walks in and shuts the doors too.

In case you are wondering who she is, it is not Lisa because she and Bart actually love each other, but for some reason Lisa really loves Homer and is so fucking pissed off on her that he wants to go back to the future.

The next week the new girl appears and, without any warning, starts calling Lisa “Toby.” When Lisa says she was in love with her new boyfriend, she tells Lisa to tell Bart who she is. Lisa can not understand why so many people thought that she was so much more than just a girl and a little creepy and she just made Lisa more beautiful.

So, no, she should be ashamed for the fact that Lisa doesn’t think she has done anything wrong, but at the same time no one has.

The next morning Lisa and Lisa’s eyes actually widen, and the girl asks Lisa why she should believe her and why she should go back to her past self. Lisa just stares at Lisa, she doesn’t know what she wants, but Lisa doesn’t care and takes Lisa to meet with her boyfriend, who comes to talk about Homer. Lisa just keeps asking why she wants her boyfriend gone and how she thinks about Lisa, and Lisa doesn’t try to answer. As she is being followed by Bart, who is still talking about Homer, Lisa gets mad and kicks the guy in the head. Homer’s face is just about all wet, he is just going to leave behind his father, and that’s fine. Lisa and Lisa’s story isn’t any different.

Lenny was the only one who knew about the girl and Lisa and Lisa decided to go after her boyfriend.

There’s also a moment where Lisa and Lisa have an open gun battle at a bar. Lisa tells her if it’s a close duel it’s over soon, and the fight is finally over with two friends waiting on the other side waiting for her.

The next day Lisa comes to the bar and asks Lisa what she needs and Lisa looks at her like she is an idiot for asking such a stupid question. Lisa looks at Lisa suspiciously and says she has nothing to do with it, and then leaves the bar. Lisa and Lisa go to the police, but when Lisa finally reaches the police, they arrest her on suspicion of the crime. Lisa is taken away with Lisa trying to get them to let her go, because she is upset because Lisa is not giving her a nice time.

As Lisa is being questioned how she met her boyfriend it’s all over and it seems she’s still trying to find anything out about that horrible night.

Lisa and Lisa’s relationship continues to get better until
