It also influences what they do and how they act on issues affecting them and how they observe, learn, judge, argue and decide among many other attributes.  Technological advancements is a force in the world today. The loading is the internet (Heid & Blume, 2008). It creates easy access to information and gives a lot ease to communicate worldwide. However, the uncertainty that this technological advancement brings with them, especially considering the rapid growth while still at that tender age, without a prior past to look at and help determine the possible future outcome, leaves us wondering the value of such and as such just how costly it may be on the influence our children’s ability to think and comprehend.A growing research has, however proven that technology is beneficial to the young mind and as well can exposure to technology wires the brain far much differently from the previous generations be harmful. And this influence goes deeper than just on the surface of their thinking, seeing as this minds are still young and can be moulded to fit any need since the brains are still developing, continuous. However, it is a hard fact to dispute that that as time passes the technology that is available determines the development of our brains.

A child’s ability to learn to focus effectively and consistently forms a fundamental base for all for all aspects of their growth and as such fundamental for their growth and success which makes a happy population. Children of this current generation tend to depend a lot on technology for most of their play therefore, limiting their imagination and creativity and also limits their movement as most games are centred on computers (Wartella & Jennings, 2000). This results in their bodies’ failure to attain the proper development of their sensory and motor abilities. This has an effect on the Childs ability to attaining basic skills for literacy. Rapid development of technology has had an impact on physical and psychological health of the developing child. These disorders have only being detected. They are yet to be understood. This shows how complex the technological effect has hit the younger generation. Other conditions like obesity and diabetes have become a common finding in children in Canada and the USA and this is attributed to technology over use. Certain conditions are associated with technology overuse and the rate at which they are increasing is alarming. Among these conditions are: learning difficulties, delays in development, autism, sleep disorders, anxiety and depression are only to mention but a few. Having mentioned this, it is of great importance that an urgent look at the on the factors that hamper developmental milestones is considered. This would help the parent, teachers and other relevant stakeholders to better understand this issue and in return lay down proper strategies for reducing the rate of technology use among children.
