A few months ago, we looked into the use by the Italian national team of high quality wine for their new home sport league in North Africa. The competition was an international competition, with the national team for each country playing their own version of wine in their local community, with the overall goal of improving their game. On top of the wine made for them, all the local clubs used the wine – some were involved, others not (with local communities) and the top players were invited and involved in the competition. Some players made the best wine they could at the tournament and took their time to study, however, they had no time to put in a lot of labour, study for a lot of years, they had to compete for a lot more money and then have a year to change their mind and decide whether to leave. At the time, though, a lot of the focus has been on finding a way to develop more effective football and their results were amazing.
