Why Eastern Illinois University?
When looking for a college you seek a school where you believe you will feel comfortable and do your best as a student. A school that will help you gain higher success and guide you. I found that Eastern Illinois will be that school for me. When I was a junior in high school, Eastern was brought to my attention by a friend of my family. She is an alumnus and told me how the school could help me in find that school for me.
The organizations Eastern offers such as student government, multicultural programing and leadership support, shows how the school cares and the schools interest in the student education, leadership and unity. I found interest in the gateway program. I feel that the program will help me stay on tack my freshman year, as well a prepare me for the future. I can achieve personal success at Eastern by staying focused and setting high goals for myself. I can achieve academic success by asking question and staying on track.
