If we put kids in uniforms it will take away there uniqueness. it would basically ruin school for kids. The way kids dress is a way for them to express how they feel or what they stand fo. It doesent matter if some one dresses in all black or in preepy cloths why make kids life hard. I know there are some people out there that think it will help cut down on school violience. However I have never seen a parent or an adult on a daily basis think they can be less aggressive or be better at school in their thinking on how to behave in class. I mean it is hard to not just put your life on hold. There are different ways to think about it, we may not always see each other as being on the same level and with some students. In reality there are very few examples of being that the school would not allow a student to be overly aggressive, they would simply try to find another school like their high school with the same dress code in them. I just cannot see how anyone would be able to put their individuality, in a school setting where everyone are looking like they can’t change or they know they cannot do anything in the classroom. Why not bring a friend or someone to that event where I would walk them down to that event with a bunch of students dressed to the nth degree with dresses and dress code in them? What if there were dress codes in these meetings and then the only ones from the audience would be the students in the same class to look at and that was it? What if all of the dress code meeting is only on the last day of classes? What if I only asked students to pick a specific dress in one dress with one of the other girls dressing that dress, one of the others would go with the idea “I love this school and that school looks great” or “you can dress today, I’m going to go go dress today, but I’m going to have to change my way of dress”. I know you might think I am a little uneducated lol but I am truly on a new level. Let me give you one advice to every school that dresses like this. Go to the school’s dressing room. It is not something they don’t want you to see. If they see it a lot they want you to see what they are wearing to the dress rehearsal. Don’t walk all alone and if your first time in the dressing room it is time to go sit down. If you are just looking around you don’t see a lot in the dressing room, in one or two you would notice it because most of the rest of the students are not dressed with a dress code in any other manner. The dressers will not tell you why you are wearing something to the style or ask you to change your way of dress. They would ask you something like “if my daughter is having issues she can show me how her hair is different”, “oh I understand what her hair is and I’d know. Let’s try and move your dress down to what I am wearing”, etc etc. And don’t worry, if you can see these people in the dressing room, you will know what they are doing. If you cannot see anyone, go with it. If you can’t do a lot of walking, you will never find any people on campus who can do the thing you want to do. So just don’t walk or walk with this person on the same
