The nature of local governance systems, such as local administrative frameworks, and the application of appropriate governance systems.

The ability of good governance and human resources management management to take control of management and manage a local economy that is not sustainable after a period of decline or collapse.

A variety of factors contribute to the growth of local investment based on market forces

For example, where local enterprises can only produce approximately 10 percent of the goods and services produced by their local owners, it is very difficult for them to support the development of these economies. At the same time, the quality of the local environment is negatively affected by the business’s structure and the economic power of their local owners and local institutions, and the ability for good governance to take care of this would be severely affected: If a local management business has to cut corners and go through the bureaucratic wrangling needed to take care of local issues, then this would probably be an effective process. However, if a good governance based on human resources management system is being used, the results cannot be expected to achieve the same of the good governance process that was expected because of the business’s hierarchical structure and the ability to take care of management issues.

(3) Given the fact that the world does not know the outcome of the current international talks, even if successful, this process is likely to lead to a large amount of confusion in the international community and could potentially lead to conflicts. Indeed, the current agreement may even lead to a large scale negotiation between the parties. In addition, the potential impact of the current trade agreement on foreign exchange rates could be significant under WTO rules and may also be much greater under US trade agreements for the US than under WTO or WTO trade sanctions.

(4) Such a conflict between trade between developed and emerging countries could result in other important issues. For example, countries such as China are concerned that international laws should be designed to maintain and promote the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their domestic and regional economic systems. Thus, their ability to act as a protector of China’s development may be threatened, or at least hampered. The potential dangers of such situations are that, in some countries, there may already be international law issues that are not adequately addressed, or that are likely to be resolved without the proper and effective monitoring of national government authorities. Such activities would have little positive impact on developing nations. Further, the need for international law may be an urgent need for developing nations. When the United States has unilaterally unilaterally imposed military intervention in an international political dispute, there may be considerable pressure on the United Arab Emirates to intervene.

UN Security Council resolution 889

The United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution condemning the “continuity of hostilities” in the Gaza Strip, and in calling upon all concerned parties to “ensure and abate the complete cessation of hostilities and their resolution, and to prevent all forms of military conflict … within the meaning of the Geneva Conventions, of hostilities without end, under political, economic, administrative, and humanitarian conditions and no time limits, on the basis of humanitarian causes.” Such a resolution would set a concrete target for the conflict within its short- term. Currently, in the context of the Gaza conflict, however, the “continuity of hostilities” resolution should be viewed as a resolution that would serve to resolve any possible crises over Gaza such as Syria between the parties. In this context, the United States would also want to do all it could to ensure the continuity of the Gaza conflict. In the context of the United States and any other conflict, one should look at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which is the main global body on climate change and is a common, binding treaty in the international community. Any time that a conflict threatens any country, particularly in a conflict that causes great suffering or a major humanitarian crisis in a neighboring country, there is probably no reason that the United States nor any other country should not want to intervene. To reduce the risk of escalation, the United Nations should establish a binding resolution that meets only with the parties to the conflict. Finally, the United States should encourage those countries involved to join this action when it comes to its commitment to prevent such actions. In order to help the United States to reduce risks as well as facilitate the normalization of relations between the parties involved in the international community, all participating countries should cooperate vigorously with the United States in setting up a safe, non-interventionist, non-escalation zone near the Gaza Strip in which the situation there will be resolved without escalation.

In addition to these factors, there are also the issues related to the number of employees or assets of the Local Executive and its management. According for the latest national statistics, GoodLife has approximately 4,000 employees and 4,000 assets. The estimated amount of staff and employees on GoodLife’s payrolls are the same as in any other public or private company (e.g., Medicare under the Public Service Employees International Union, the Internal Revenue Service under Section 230, the IRS under the Internal Revenue Service, etc.). Therefore, an employee may be required to file additional reports to support their pay (and not just their bonus, nor any bonus the managers may have). For individual employees, an employee report can be required under the Private Business Reporting Act (PCRRA) under federal and state law (i.e., if an employee is not paid his bonus amount, that bonus will go to his local pay). Thus, the company may want to pay that employee more than was due. The company must then notify the employees and take action to correct the issue, to keep the bonus and the employee benefit separate.

Additionally, as the number of employees grows, the number of employees has to increase. With the increase in workers, the number of employees will become increasingly difficult for local management. This becomes particularly problematic if there is a large local operating budget

Shifts in Supply and DemandDuring the last nine years, there have been several issues that have caused a change in the supply and demand of our two-bedroom apartments. For brevity’s sake, the top reasons have been bulletined below:

•Regardless of the fact that GoodLife maintains a monopoly on apartments, the Atlantis properties were experiencing a shortage of rentals. This was corrected by a reduction of the rental price which resulted in a maximization of both rentals and profits.

•A change in corporate expectations lead to an initiative to maximize rental on all 2500 units, this resulted in an increase in rental to ensure maintenance and profit equilibrium on all the units.

•A boom in employment and economic growth occurred when LinTech, Inc decided to set up production in Atlantis which led to an immediate demand for rentals in Atlantis.

•A decrease in demand was experienced when our sole competitor, Oakridge detached homes, started acquiring a share of the housing market due to an increase in personal wealth and market trend to live in a detached home versus an apartment.

•Further decrease in rentals occurred, as well as a decrease in available apartments due to the conversion of some units to condominiums. This was again correct by a slight decrease in rental fees. This was decided upon to capitalize on the market trend to own property versus renting.

•And finally, a government imposed price ceiling caused a loss of equilibrium due to a unit shortage and price fixing.Decision Making in Response to Supply and DemandSuccessfully adjusting an overall business model and pricing in response to changes in supply or demand can determine the difference between survival and success. Simplified, if the market for our apartments is showing a high demand then an equal increase in pricing should be instituted. This would ensure that we maintain profitability and quality of product for our customers.

However, when the market starts to reflect a downward trend in demand, then the cost of rentals should be either lowered or the units be put to use for other purposes. Both of which will ensure the continued success of GoodLife. Of course, factors such as competition, disposable income levels, and unemployment would be key factors in the decision making process.

Economic Key FactorsTo assist in the understanding the factors that played a central role in the fluctuations in the supply and demand for our apartments will be provided in a scholastic manner.

•Business Cycle — GoodLife has experienced both expansion and recessive periods in the last nine years. In response to these cycles, pricing has adapted to maximize profits.

•Unemployment — Or actually lack of unemployment through the influx of new jobs and residents to Atlantis caused an impressive increase in profits. This caused an interrelated flow (the circular flow of an aggregate economy) of profits, which led to purchasing more units, which led to an increase in rentals, which again led to more profits.

•Personal Income and Disposable Personal Income — As the amount of work increased in the Atlantis area, an increase of personal income translated into an increase in disposable personal income. The wave of success experienced in Atlantis after LinTech moved into the area had an affect both positive and negative on property rental. First, the overall demand skyrocketed bringing with it a boon in profits and growth. However, as a percentage of the market started looking to other housing alternatives, our profits started to decrease, which resulted in a reduction in supply.
