Stress Issue
Haziqa: Hey guys, whats up? How are your classes going?
Farhana: Theyre not. No matter how much we try, we just cant seem to get anything done.
Aisyah: Sounds like you guys have some stuff happening. Do you have any idea whats up?
Farhana: No. Im just really confused about what I need to know for class and I cant seem to get going.
Dinah: Yeah, I cant stay focused. Im really tired and sometimes I even fall asleep in class.
Haziqa: Why dont you take a break now and well try to calm you down a little. We know some stress relief methods.
Dinah: That sounds great if you dont mind helping us out.
Aisyah: No worries. Lets start with a few questions. Do you think you get enough sleep at night?
Farhana: Not really. I have to work and study, so I probably only get about four or five hours if Im lucky.
Haziqa: What?! Thats not good. Sleep is the most important thing in human lives. You shouldnt take it easy. Human beings supposedly get some sleep around 7 to 8 hours. Enough sleep can refresh your mind before you get to study.

Dinah: No wonder I always feel headache and wasted. Oh yes, I had read some news broadcasted about some individuals who died because of lack of sleep.
Aisyah: You should be more careful. What about exercise? You should try to exercise at least three days a week.
Farhana: The only exercise we get is walking back and forth to class. And the walking from lab and tuition classes.
Haziqa: That cant be true. For your information, exercise is a major stress reliever. It can relax your tense muscle and helps you to sleep deeply. Exercise also improves blood flow to the brain. So, your brain and body do not tire out.

Dinah: Well, then we need to steal time from our solid schedule to work out. we cant deny that it for our goodness.
Aisyah: Hmm I bet youre eating a lot of junk food, too, right?
Farhana: Yeah, I am, but I dont have the time to sit down and eat regular food. I only had to eat fast food like a sandwich, burger during my short gap in the fixed schedule.

Haziqa: I know what you mean. I cant tell you how many times Ive ordered pizza this month just because I didnt have the time to make myself a real meal. But still, you need nutrition because “you are what you eat”. It keeps our body functioning properly. As you know, junk food doesnt provide the nutrients and energy that we need.

Dinah: Yes, we learned that in our science and physical education classes. I know if I was still this way I would get an illness like anemia.
Aisyah: What about your friends? I know it helps me out a lot when Im feeling miserable, to talk to my friends. It really cheers me up.
Farhana: Well, I used to talk to my friends all the time, but ever since I got into this slump Ive sort of lost touch with them. Sometimes someone will call and see if I want to go out.

Aisyah: Well? Do you go?
Farhana: Yeah, sometimes, but not as often as I used to.
Aisyah: Whoa! When I first met you, you used to party till, well, the cows came home.
Farhana: Yeah, now I find myself hanging out in my room a lot just watching TV.
Aisyah: Its a troubling thing. You should make an effort to interact socially as you did in our first year. It lets you all take some time off from tough things. Plus, it will boost our low self-confidence and improve our social stability.

Dinah: Yeah, you say the right things. Maybe we should return to our cheerful and happy-go-lucky personalities like in the first year.
Haziqa: Is something worrying you? Something making it hard to concentrate?
Dinah: I guess Im too worried about grades, work, and especially letting my parents down. The more I think about this stuff, the worse it gets and the less I get done.

Farhana: I had a lot of things to do like attending tuitions classes, completing homework and prepare for some presentation of certain subjects. All of this stuff needs to be done in a compressed time. I havent got enough time to do all of this.

Aisyah: It really sounds like a vicious cycle, and what we need to work on is breaking that cycle so you can start focusing on your work again.
Dinah: That sounds great Aisyah, but how do we get started?
Aisyah:
