Democracy is not for everyone
Today about 58.2% of the worlds countries are guided by a democratic government. This kind of government is believed to be the best and the most just, but some countries, such as those ones in which a theocratic culture prevails, are not willing to adhere to it because of their traditions. Theres a dichotomic division about this topic: many people believe that this typology of government is not meant to be established everywhere, while others think that the establishment of democracy could be the solution to many world conflicts. In this essay I will look at some of the reasons why democracy is not always the best form of government.

Firstly, we can affirm that democracy is not a synonym for peace and a democratic goverment is not always a guarantor of stability and security. One glaring example is the democratic election of Adolf Hitler in Germany in the 1930s. He didnt bring peace at all, he was able to transform the government into a terrible dictatorship, which shows the fragility of democratic institutions and governments in the face of vindictive and angry individuals. Now-a-days some democratic countries are trying to introduce their own kind of goverment into high-violence societies through war and invasions. Of course the native people will want to rebel against this imposition, not only because they feel violated but also to protect and defend their traditional culture. As an example, in countries like Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan even if people should decide to introduce a democratic regime, they would prefer voting for religious parties, since these countries have a traditionally theocratic society.

Another obstacle to the establishment of democracy in all countries is that this kind of government is meaningless without fundamental constitutional liberties. These are present in some countries but historical events had to take place in order for people
