The Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence is important because without it we would not have is called the United States. The declaration of independence happen in July 4, 1776 but it was not that day that the continental congress decided to declare the independence it actually happen on July 2, 1776. People feel great that they can have there on independence and their on freedom after all the people have suffer because of the Britain. What caused the declaration of independence to happen, The Declaration of Independence separated us from Britain, and how it benefited the Americans. The declaration of independence is very important because it gave the Americans freedom, it benefit the Americans and it made the U.S a country.

This following demonstrate what causes the declaration of independence to happen. American colonist want to break free from British rule. The British has passed laws that the colonist did not like, the laws were three acts one of the laws forced the colonist to live in their own house without their permission. The stamp act was a law that the British passed to the colonist, which made the colonist to pay taxes on newspaper, licenses, legal documents etc. the colonist were tired of the cruelty of the British. the colonist wanted their freedom they don’t want no more rules of the British. The colonist hated and detested the laws of the British. colonist hated and detested the British laws because of the sugar and quartering acts the British needed money for war, so the British started to tax the colonist because the British know that they used a lot of sugar, in quartering act colonist if they wanted protection colonists needed to provide the soldier food, and shelter.

The declaration of independence benefit to the Americans. After the declaration of independence, there was a historical meeting. After the declaration of independence was, declare there was a meeting called the constitutional convention, in only four months Philadelphia convention has produced a document that could government the United States more than two hundred years. President, now there is no king or queen, there is now a president, so the president term was to set four year only as a president. However, people can chooses the president that they wanted. The president that get the most votes should be elected president, now people have the opinion to choose the president as they believe and thrust on protecting the American citizens.
