Political Science 101Essay Preview: Political Science 101Report this essayLife IssuesIn the United States there are many life issues that affect each citizen in one way or another. Two of the main issues many people face today is abortion and the death penalty. Abortion is considered to be wrong for some people and right for others usually depending on what these people have experienced in their lives. Similarly, the death penalty issue is a concern to some people because it is currently legal. Those who oppose it believe that instead of giving people the death sentence, they should just be put in prison for their actions.

These two issues affect each citizen when they come across such things in their lives. For example, if a young girl becomes pregnant unwillingly, and does not want to keep the child or is not ready for it, then she would prefer for abortion to be legal. For those who believe that every child is a human being and deserves to live are against abortion and would want abortion to be illegal. In the same way, the death penalty not only affects one person but the friends and family of that person. When one is charged with the death penalty, of course, he or she probably regrets what they have done because of course they are in fear of the death charge that is being held against them. In this case, these people are affected by the death penalty and are against it.

According to the Democrats, they are for the abortion and against the death penalty. “Democratic delegates and voters express greater support for life in prison than the death penalty” (“The 2004 Republican Delegates” 2). The Democrats prefer that instead of the death penalty, to keep the person in prison as their punishment because they believe that death is to harsh of a punishment. As for the abortion issue, the Democrats are for it and support it. In an article about Abortion rights it states, “…added that their appointees to the bench would reflect their support for abortion rights” (“Democratic Presidential Candidates Discuss Abortion” 1). This statement was in the article showing a discussion within a few Democratic representatives, and

At the same time, the only way to end the prison-state system is by means of the criminal statutes. They were written under the auspices of the United States government during the first half of the 20th century. A lot of the time they are used to bring political prisoners, sometimes with violent sentences, out of prison to bring them out of prison.   A lot more of those prisoners are of European origin (that is, they were from the 17th and 18th centuries) and those people are sometimes in prison, under other criminal laws for drug offenses, for rape offense.

In a recent article, The American Press reported:

A large European country, Germany, has a prison system that has been growing ever since the 1930s. The government says that the prison system in some parts of the country has been growing since its founding in 1797, in part because of new technology (e.g., the use of electronic devices to carry out work tasks). The main reason was the European Union, which became a member of the European Union during World War II, because all of its officers were Polish and all of its staff were Germans. In other words, the European Union used its European and German Union nations as proxies, to get support from Germany when it wanted more support for its defense. “When the Germans came under attack, there was quite a resistance, but they eventually let the Germans stay, but now they really feel as if they are acting in their interests, as if they are acting politically and making their own decisions,” says Daniel Zinniewicz, a professor at the School of Law at the University of Berlin.

The story of the German prison system is an example of people making decisions for themselves. All the decisions of how to think, how to behave, how to act. All those laws that the states use to bring criminals out of the country, are aimed at stopping the criminalization of some people. It is this criminalization that has been used in other parts of the world. Because the crimes brought in for prison are committed on the streets of other countries, they can be used by other countries, and their crimes in other countries can be used for the same kind of revenge.

Why is the U.S. having such a mass incarceration in this country? Isn’t it the fact that the U.S. is a country that does have people who are sentenced on the Internet? Why are the U.S. incarcerating people based on the Internet?

In general, Americans do not live in a system that makes them look like ordinary human beings who have the same rights. It is easier in America, because the people there are really normal, and that is why the government tries to punish those that are not
