Relationship between Death Anxiety and Quality of Life among Thalassemia PatientSehrish Liaqat and Dr.Rizwana AminDepartment of Applied Psychology, Bahauddin Zakariya University MultanBackground Death anxiety is the morbid abnormal or persistent fear of one’s own death or the process of his/her dying “Feeling of dread”(Lang, R, 2004).Quality of life is a concept that reflects a person’s desired conditions of living related to eight core dimensions of one’s life: emotional well-being interpersonal relationships, material well-being personal development, physical well-being, self-determination, social inclusion, and  rights (Schalock, 2000)Objective:To find out, the relationship between death anxiety and quality of life among thalassemia Patients.  To find out the difference of death anxiety and quality of life among thalassemic  patient.Hypothesis:There is a significant relationship between death anxiety and quality of life among thalassemia  patient. Method:Participant-Instrument-Procedure.Sample consisted on 100 thalassemia patients. Sample selected from different hospitals. Purposive sampling was used to called the data. There is a significant relationship between death anxiety and quality of life among thalassemia patient the children were most likely to report impaired QOL due to seven difficulties in pain.
