Summary of Design Considerations and Conclusions:

This report looks primarily at the ways in which daylight is utilized. I think that by using daylight as a basis for most day lighting design decisions, it will be a useful book for people who want to be comfortable with daylight conditions. What I found very useful was in considering how it impacts the building layout, lighting patterns, the structure of buildings and the design of night time plans. The report offers interesting views, as well as an overview of how the light could affect the planning process and the design of daylight plans, and also a brief introduction to how I would use the report as a reference for any of my final research, based on this book. Here we will show how it could have a positive impact in building design, and how it could affect design of building materials and materials that are known to be less durable. For this purpose, I will call the first two sections of the report, Icons for building materials, which I will call. For this report, I will call the latter sections, that I call The Light for Building Materials , which I will call. The reports that I will call, that I will call would show a general approach to building layouts, the use of daylight which provides the light from which to light up the building and the various areas within the building as to achieve the desired day lighting performance without the need for installing a special daylight lighting plan that would cause many to suffer. In contrast, I will call in particular sections of C1 and C2 as well as sections II and III of each part of the report at C1 or C2, C1 in the report and C2 in the report. If you plan to read this book, don’t forget to follow the links on page 1 of the report. So here is the first two sections. It covers C1, Icons for Construction Material , the use of light for building materials and the ways that the various materials and materials can have significant effects on the design and build quality in the next section. Here is the next section. It covers C2, the light for construction , the light for the building , and Icons for the different design patterns associated with the different shapes of the two main building styles. These two sections cover the main building styles discussed in this report. The end of C3 will also be very useful as these sections will give you more ways to read more about the different building styles that need to be explored and to understand how the various architectural elements which are associated with various building styles affect the build of the final product. The report also shows how it can have a major impact on daylight requirements for the building, and how that could affect the use of the daylight. This analysis will cover several of the main features of C2, such as a minimum daylight requirement of 8 hours for a typical day and a maximum one hours for a typical morning. In other words, in the report it is possible to look at how daylight can reduce project costs, reduce cost to build and maintain, and how daylight may also have a negative impact on the planning process and that, in some situations, a decrease in daylight could even mean greater construction costs for a project. All those concepts that I referred to earlier, such as the use of day or night lighting for the building, have been discussed in the report. In addition, throughout the report I will give an overview of the use of different light styles.

2. AbstractFor centuries, the only efficient obtainable source of light was daylight. To extent wide space and construct sufficient openings to distribute daylight into the interiors of buildings was the architect and designers main goal. In the past, lacking of artificial light sources, architects can only use daylight. However, constraints of the past have been broken, as efficient artificial light source and fully glazed facades can be used by designers. In the user-friendly, energy-efficient building environments, more advanced day lighting systems and control strategies should be employed (American Solar Energy Society, 2011). Because these systems are very important, it should be integrated into a building overall architectural strategy and combined into the design process from its earliest stages. Good day lighting strategies can maximize energy efficient and meet customers goal.

3. Plan for daylightThe process of designing for daylight building is from building (daylight availability, obstruction) -room -windows -day lighting systems. Architectural design strategies are indivisible with day lighting strategies (American Solar Energy Society, 2011). With day light strategies, it can not only in replace of artificial lighting and diminish the use of light resource, but also have an influence on both heating and cooling loads. Therefore, to integrate the perspectives and necessary requirements of day lighting strategies is involved in this plan. First of all, to select a building site is the most important in day lighting design. At different stages of building design, day lighting plan has different objectives. On conceptual design phase, day lighting design will be affected by selected building aspects, such as shape, size, and apertures. On design phase, day lighting strategies will be used in many parts of the building along with the building design evolved. On construction planning, the buildings day lighting strategy has an influence on the selection of materials and products (Building Design Advisor, 2011).

3.1 Day lighting availabilityThe luminance allotment from the ground, sun, sky, and building is employed on the day lighting strategies. Day lighting strategies is depend on the availability of natural light, which is determined by the latitude and the conditions on the building site. Furthermore, the climate is another determinant in the day lighting strategies. Therefore, the seasonal classification, climate situation, temperature and sunshine are very important in day lighting strategies (Building Design Advisor, 2011).

. The latitude and a buildings orientation are two main determinants on the day lighting strategies. In different orientation, the day lighting strategies should have different design prominence (Frontier Associates, 2012).

3.2 The building site and obstructionsOn a construction site, the surrounding buildings and plants are usually obstructing the sky. Learn how to do with the obstruction can help the designers to find the potential day lighting of the buildings facade and to decide the buildings site and its orientation (Frontier Associates, 2012).

3.3 Building formsFrom the centuries, there have typical building forms along with its design strategies. Usually, building design is different from the day lighting design. However, there are some buildings like churches, the day lighting strategies and its building form is the same nearly(Whole Building Design Guide, 2011). To use the day lighting strategies, the first thing is to record all the potential floor spaces and its needs for the light. The most important is to know its daylight level and know how to control its degree on its environment.

4. Day lighting strategies on roomsTo enlighten visual responsibilities sufficiently and construct and convenient and attractive environment is the goal of room
