Inequality : Malaysian Context
Introduction
In the year 2020, the Malaysian Government wants to achieve the Vision 2020 as a Develop Country. There are 9 challenges that must be fulfills in order to become a Develop Country by the year 2020. One of the main challenges is to ensure an economically just society. It means that the society must get fair and equitable wealth distribution. So, I have decided to conduct this research as to see inequalities among the society in Malaysia.

Economically, inequality can be defined as the differences given by the government to the society in term of the distribution of income, wealth, housing or discrimination among the society that lead to the wide gap between the rich and poor and the poverty. Nowadays, we can see that numbers of people in our country are increase as their income decrease these especially faced by those who live in a rural area.

Basically, the main income of those who live in a rural area only depending on the agriculture such as farmer or fishermen and there are huge gap of income and wealth distribution compared to those who live in urban area. This will lead to the increasing of poverty level among Malaysian and will be difficult for Malaysia to achieve a Develop Country by the year 2020.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY
This research has two (2) main objectives which are;
To know the factors lead to the inequality in Malaysia.
To analyze the consequences of inequality in Malaysia.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
There are two reasons that lead to this research. Firstly, I have seen that there is a huge gap between the rich and the poor people. It clearly happened among those who live in urban and rural areas.

Secondly, the statistic showed Sabah is the poorest state in Malaysia where the poverty level below the Poverty Line Indicator (PCI). This problem should not be happen since there are 8 more years for the country to achieve the Vision 2020 to become a develop country.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The data of this research obtain using secondary data. Secondary data is the data which are gained from the past research that are related with my topic which is Inequality in Malaysia.

FINDING
Based on the literature review, the first finding stated the gap between student in urban and rural area still clear. It showed that the students who live in a rural area still left behind in term of using the ICT in school because they have a limited access to get the connection. It was differ with those student who live in an urban area where they were easy
