An Essay on Unemployment as a Dangerous Problem
No doubt that unemployment is a dangerous problem that represents a dangerous threat to the economy and the well-being of humanity. It is also the reason of instability and upheavals striking a lot of developing countries. Thus, it is important for any state to do its best to face such a dangerous problem with deep analysis. The solution of this problem needs an honest participation of all institutions to put an end to this problem.

According to Gbosi (1997) unemployment is defined as “a situation in which people who are willing to work at the prevailing wage rate are unable to find jobs”. Recently, Patterson, Okafor & Williams (2006) explained the culminating troubles of unemployment nowadays claiming that it is “one of the developmental problems that face every developing economy in the 21st century.” However, unemployment is not restricted to developing countries since a lot of developed countries are suffering from this problem and a large numbers of suicide accidents in the West are mainly caused by this problem. Thus, it can be said that unemployment, though one of the economical problems, has got a disastrous effect not only on certain people in some countries but also on humanity as a whole.

In fact, unemployment is caused by various reasons. Arestis, Baddeley & Sawyer (2007) claimed that unemployment is caused by different reasons. Chief among them are; low levels of education and training, or physical disabilities. Moreover, they referred to other seven causes of unemployment.
