And my first experience with Lotus Notes on Google Apps was my first experience at Lotus Notes and my first with many other Cloud services and Google Apps. It also happened when a colleague asked me what I thought about its capabilities for the cloud service and I responded, very well. You never know, and I had my reasons when my colleagues didn’t understand the limitations of Lotus Notes. But now I find that Lotus Notes does not have an obvious, immediate, or clear advantage. And that is a problem. Lotus Notes does not have an easy or a simple way to integrate with the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) of other operating systems. Its capability to integrate with others is a big headache with a lot of people because what’s known about the application, not only not having the ability to integrate with all of them but also the difficulties with making those systems as a separate application, are the most obvious and obvious barriers for people to know that it can interoperate with other Linux operating systems that are currently in development at the Google offices. This is not to say Lotus Notes’ users want to have a better understanding of Linux. But that is not all. Even Google App and Google Wallet can integrate with and have applications available in their own environments when they look at the app. There is a built-in mechanism in Google Play so that the user can open an app directly at any site where they have a home page. So in these scenarios you can have any application and all of those applications are accessible from any device. But in our case it is almost impossible to integrate into any open source or distributed software like Google Maps or Android and to be able to fully utilize it for other activities without being aware it is at a loss. And Lotus Notes does not have any such mechanism for access to Google services like Facebook, WhatsApp. Nor does it provide applications that can be run on anything other than the Google platform. So if the company were really going to be interested in a solution to this problem, they could have made a similar attempt with Lotus Notes and added other features and new features rather than just putting things on the service. However, that’s not what I had expected from Lotus Notes, it is much harder to get started with any application. If the application cannot support all the capabilities of the OS, then it can never be able to work without a kernel and I mean in terms of features to start with. Lotus Notes also does not have a really flexible or fully customizable way to manage configuration to get the applications into place. Lotus Notes also uses different operating systems to make it more difficult or impossible to create a user interface with all those different operating systems. Also, because of the complexity of each operating system, it’s very hard to make all the apps interact completely with each other. This is something that Lotus Notes does not provide. In the past Google Apps for Android tried integrating Lotus Notes with a number of other web operating systems, but at the time the experience was lacking, and Google App was already having to do with something else. So there did not appear to be anywhere and perhaps you wouldn’t expect that Lotus Notes will work with all of Google’s other web apps for Android. Now it is very hard to get Lotus Notes to the Internet and that is quite an achievement. But I do understand that it may be an attempt to improve the reliability and completeness of Lotus Notes.
