Criminal law/case is considered a crime against an individual or society and they usually end up doing jail time. Civil law/case is a dispute of individuals which will usually end in an award or recognition.

The president is over the executive branch which makes laws official. The president passes out laws and recommends new ones. The executive branch also direct the government, foreign policies, national defense, armed forces and perform ceremonial duties. The judicial branch deals with the court system of the U.S. It explains laws passed by Congress and explains the meaning of Constitution. The Supreme Court (which is head of the judicial branch) directs whether a law is constitutional or unconstitutional or whether it is official under the Constitution or not; and last but not least, the legislative branch is made up of the houses of Congress which are the Senate and House of Representatives. The responsibility of this branch is to make and pass laws which are written, discussed, and voted on in Congress. It also originates spending bills, impeaching officials, and approving treaties. The Senate and House of Representatives elect leaders. The majority and minority leader of the party controls the house.

Describe the Federal Court System. The federal court consists of Supreme Court, courts of appeals, district courts, bankruptcy courts, courts of special jurisdiction, and structure and function of the federal judiciary.
