Anne frank and the night are different and are similar stories. For one they are told by themselves as people during the holocaust. Anne and Elie were both Jewish, although Elie was more into his religion and Anne wasnt they were both Jewish and sent to concentration camps like in auschwitz . Also, in both stories they were made to get the Jewish star and wear them except that in Anne frank they had to purchase the star in order to wear them and in the book “night” they were just given to them. At least one person in these stories survived the holocaust, for example Elie is the one who survived in his story and Annes dad, Otto Frank was the one who survived. Now there are differences like for instance Annes family went to hiding until the war ended instead of being taken to the camps. However, Elie did not go into hiding instead he was sent to the ghetto. Another difference between these two stories is that Anne frank and her father were very close to each other unlike Elie and his father who werent that close until they were actually sent to the concentration camps and their relationship grew. Banother differemce between the two is that one of them died and the other didnt. In both the weather during the time they were at the concentration camps was cold but in “night” it was snowing. Additionally, there are people fighting for food and its basically every man for themselves. A similarity between the Elie and Anne is that they are both looking out for their loved one, for instance Anne is looking out for her sister Margot hoping and making sure she doesnt die and Elie is looking out for his father hoping he doesnt die and they try their best to make sure they stay alive.
