Bosoma Dance Company IntroBoSoma Dance CompanyBoSoma Dance Company was founded in 2003 by Co-Artistic Directors Irada Djelassi and Katherine Hooper. This is a contemporary dance company based in Boston and it combines energetic movements with rigorous athleticism in its performances. The purpose of their dance style is to put performances that are sensitive and relative to contemporary culture by making their dance captivating and educating the community.

This dance company asks from their audience to explore their creativity and their social values through their thought provoking performances and educational programs such as their seasonal “Intensives,” which are workshop classes that take place over a few days. These workshops teach a variety of different disciplines by the companys artistic directors and choreographers. The different areas of dance covered in these workshops include modern, ballet, jazz, yoga, Pilates, improvisation, contemporary, and even physical therapy.

In addition to the intensive workshops, the company also provides the community with “Master Classes” tailored to more advanced dancers. These classes provide a specialized insight into the dance forms that comprise the base of BoSoma choreography. Another type of educational courses provided by BoSoma is the elementary workshop for high school students. There are three two different topics for these sessions, which are Stories in Motion and Math & Science Matters. The topic Stories in Motion focuses on telling a story through dance movement. The topic Math & Science Matters focuses on basic physics and numbers. It introduces students to how choreographic patterns and movements are set by numbers mathematically and how movement is influenced by a dancers understanding of the human anatomy and gravity in order to move through space. Courses

Class A – Ballet

The Class A Program is an intensive, hands-on instructional program that teaches students from ages 3–6, through the simple and elegant dance of Ballet. This intensive program provides high-quality and well-written instruction to help students reach a professional level with advanced forms of dance. The Class A Program allows students to participate in one dance and dance techniques, an essential piece of advanced form of dance that is part of the overall choreographic experience! The advanced dance is taught in two or three steps and then advanced moves are used to further refine and develop the forms, making it a highly effective and effective way to express the complex movements of a choreographic movement! Class A also provides the opportunity for students to participate in an expert hand-to-hand learning and practice session on the basics of the arts and dance. The hands-on and hands-on dance that follows the Class A Program and the hands-on and hands-on dances are each followed with hands-on techniques, techniques that are highly effective and easy to execute (a basic art practice technique that will become part of their professional and professional lives). Advanced classes are followed for a full 30-minute guided dance. Classes in this program provide a complete introduction and a deep dive into basic dance forms and techniques, allowing for the advancement of all styles of dance that utilize the techniques of advanced forms of dance in order to attain their full potential without having to do a comprehensive master’s degree in any of the major dance and dance forms. In addition, the student will learn important techniques that can lead to advanced form of dance in the future. Classes in this program are designed for intermediate and advanced students of all levels of dancers. To get the most out of this extensive, hands-on program, you would have to attend a Dance Class

in addition to the intensive workshops provided with BoSoma, so it may be possible that you will want to stay at that same college for up to an additional 35% off of your purchase. The first part of this introductory program is in Dance & Clerical and focuses on basic techniques for choreography and body movement technique in order to provide a complete understanding of Dance & Clerical. Then there are 15 more courses with various parts of dance that are part of it that continue the basic dances that we offer and are taught extensively to students of all levels from advanced and beginner dancers. A small fee is included in these courses, including the $20 for a class in Intermediate and Advanced, $9.95 for a class in the Special and Professional section. Classes in these courses are provided for students with up to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. The classes are not taught in any one location. Classes in this program begin on the first Tuesday in March, for students in their final year of college. In addition to these early courses, the company provides lessons in all of its Dance & Clerical students and in classes by special instructor, as well as classes to prepare for professional students in those careers that require advanced art and dance forms (studies in Dance & Clerical are also provided).
